School–museum partnerships have gained considerable attention in the academic literature recent decades. However, their role enhancing science education is still an under-researched topic. This work reports on outcomes of recovery, study, cataloging, and valorization 18th century geo-mineralogical collection belonging to Collegio Nazareno, now housed at Istituto San Giuseppe Calasanzio Rome. The project, which was participated by students enrolled fourth- fifth-grade high school classes, revealed rare specimens such as mineralogical donated Holy Roman Emperor Joseph II (1741–1740) 1785.
