Methotrexate (MTX) is a commonly used chemotherapy drug, yet its late neurotoxic side effects are gaining attention. The aim of the study was to evaluate role miR-155 in pathogenesis MTX-induced cognitive impairment, mainly focused on interplay blood-brain barrier (BBB) integrity and MTX toxicity. Neurotoxicity is a known side effect of the chemotherapeutic drug cisplatin (CIS). Thymoquinone (THQ) natural compound with strong neuroprotective, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory effects. The objective this study to ascertain impact CIS on histopathological, biochemical, spexin (SPX) immunoreactivity in hippocampus, determine whether THQ has protective role against these effects.Twenty-eight male Sprague - Dawley rats (8-10 weeks old,200 ± 20 g) were used randomly divided into four groups (n = 7): control (no administration), (7 mg/kg first day), CIS+THQ day + 10 mg/kg/day THQ), (10 THQ). On 15th day, sacrificed. Hippocampus tissue samples for histological, immunohistochemical analyses. CISadministration significantly increased interleukin-6 (IL-6), malondialdehyde(MDA), histopathological changes, SPX hippocampus.THQ treatment was found reduce adverse effects of.THQ demonstrated neuroprotective againstCIS-induced damage hippocampus by modulating antioxidant activity, inflammatory response, immunoreactivity. We suggest that SPX, whose mechanism action cognitive, physiological, pathological processes remains unclear, plays an active hippocampus-related functions. Further more comprehensive studies are warranted.

Abstract T‐2 toxin is a member of class A aspergilloides toxins, one the most prevalent mycotoxins that contaminate feed and food. Direct ingestion animals or contaminated by can cause various animal diseases. Butyrate an organic fatty acid featuring four‐carbon chain, which commonly found in form sodium butyrate (NaB). NaB has several biological functions pharmacological effects. However, role alleviating toxin–induced hepatorenal toxicity not been explored. In this study, 240 juvenile quails were evenly assigned into 4 groups. The experimental setup comprised four groups: control group received standard diet; diet containing 0.9 mg/kg toxin; 0.5 g/kg NaB; treatment both NaB. We evaluated histopathological changes kidney liver on Days 14 28 explored molecular mechanisms involving oxidative stress, inflammation, expression nuclear xenobiotic receptors (NXRs). Our results showed exposure–induced inflammation activating stress pathway modulating NXRs to regulate related CYP450 isoforms, ultimately leading injury kidney, whereas ameliorated injury. These offer novel insights underlying protective effects mitigating quails. Practical Application have well described animals, but studies birds are limited. With development society, market scale farming expanding, value meat eggs increasing; there urgent need clarify harm its mechanism.

This study aimed to evaluate the protective potential of taurine (Tau) and enzymatically modified isoquercitrin (EMIQ), both individually in combination, against MTX-induced cardiotoxicity male rats. A total 36 rats were randomly divided into six groups (six animals each): control (vehicle), MTX alone (20 mg/kg, single dose), EMIQ+MTX (EMIQ at 26 p.o. for 16 days, with a dose on 13th day), Tau + (Tau 500 (EMIQ+Tau)+MTX, (EMIQ+Tau)½+MTX. treatment resulted elevated levels cardiac creatine phosphokinase-myocardial band, troponin I, nitric oxide, malondialdehyde, serum IL-6, while decreasing myeloperoxidase, catalase, superoxide dismutase. also reduced expression BMI-1, induced DNA laddering fragmentation, increased cleaved caspase-3 protein tissue. Both EMIQ showed equivalent effectiveness protecting heart damage due their antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiapoptotic properties. Notably, combined half-doses offered superior protection compared full doses each agent alone. The full-dose combination similar efficacy half-dose few exceptions. Overall, these results suggest synergistic effect mitigating cardiotoxicity, warranting further investigation underlying mechanisms.
