Objective: To examine the relationship between sleep quality and self-efficacy for managing chronic diseases in elderly individuals living at home Edirne province. Methods: In this cross-sectional study, data was collected through simple random sampling visits from 244 aged 60 years older March December 2018. The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, Self-Efficacy Managing Chronic Disease 6-Item Scale, Interview Form were used study. using descriptive analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation, linear regression analysis. Results: Most of (86.1%) had poor mean Index total score 7.16±3.04. Scale 4.82±1.79. worse who women, single, retired, perceiving their health as bad, with comorbidities (p˂0.05). There a negative significant scales correlation analyses Conclusions: Self-efficacy disease management an important factor improving quality. Healthcare professionals must be knowledgeable experienced practices that increase primary care.

This study evaluates the comparative effectiveness of Ericksonian Hypnotherapy (EH) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in addressing prolonged grief among university students Istanbul. Transitioning through critical developmental phases, 39 who had experienced significant loss demonstrated symptoms participated this randomized controlled trial. They were divided equally into three groups: those receiving EH, undergoing CBT, a control group placed on waiting list. Assessments utilized Prolonged Grief Scale Beck Depression Inventory to measure interventions' impact grief. Findings revealed improvements both EH CBT groups compared control, with showing marginally higher reducing symptoms. research underlines EH's potential as culturally adaptable effective treatment for diverse academic setting, advocating its broader application further exploration across various populations.

The aim of the present study was to determine effect moving meditation exercise training on depression level and sleep quality in elderly individuals. research carried out between March 2021 June 2022 as a randomized control group pretest-posttest design. sample consisted 114 individuals 65 years age older who were registered 2 family health centers province. Introductory Information Form, Katz Activities Daily Living Scale (Katz ADL), International Physical Activity Questionnaire, Geriatric Depression Scale, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index used study. After 6-week intervention, participants had lower good intensity scores than those group. average depression, subjective quality, disorder, overall significantly decreased over time (P < .05). Moving may reduce improve quality. These results show that can be supportive method for traditional treatments. In consideration growing economy, it recommended nurses incorporate this their professional practice compare long-term with other complementary practices Turkish population.
