This research presents a comprehensive review and meta-analysis of literature to examine the impact various leadership styles on organizational adaptive performance (AP). AP is essential for job performance, especially in environments undergoing rapid changes. Previous reviews found that transformational self-leadership had positive influence adaptivity, while relationship between other not been clear. First, authors outlined theoretical framework leadership, clarifying how adaptivity different are defined discussed scientific literature. Subsequently four databases were explored identify studies investigate Leadership AP’ relationship. 32 articles 2 conference papers investigated review, which 31 used conduct meta-analysis; 52 effect sizes from samples identified total sample size 11.640 people. Qualitative synthesis revealed depended contextual variables aspects related nature work. Moreover, it was supported through motivational relational aspects. Through this meta-analysis, significant existed ( Z r = .39, SE .04, p < .001. 95%CI [.32, .47], .37). However, no differences emerged examined studies. deepens importance as factor affect employees’ likelihood dealing with continuously emergent changes at work, extended search emerging approaches highlight value collective contributions, ethics, moral sustainable elements could positively AP.
