Abstract Background Dunaliella microalgae, such as salina riching in β-carotene and bardawil rich lutein α-carotene, have been used aquaculture, supplements, cosmetics, feed industries. The genus is diverse; therefore, characterization of novel strains isolation new varieties through mutagenesis technology will promote natural carotenoid bioproduction. Results Salt stress test demonstrated that the newly isolated microalgae strain ZP-1 was a halotolerant strain. Morphology observation molecular phylogeny analysis indicated unicellular green microalga member . Biomass RAM medium up to 2.45 g/L, showing advantage over other common terms yield. Furthermore, Ethyl methanesulfonate (EMS) mutant library generated from this high-biomass strain, aiming improve productivity. A selected morphology combining with quantification by HPLC, which nominated turn yellow dunaliella 4 ( tyd4 ). displayed an increased productivity 28.55% zeaxanthin 22.19%. promoted 17.40% continuous culture under red light. Application exogenous 1.0 μM melatonin on led cell density improved biomass. Conclusions study support EMS effective breeding approach for further improvement sp. ZP-1, exhibiting potential overcome bottleneck low biomass current commercial strains. had higher contents both zeaxanthin, whose yield could be elevated light melatonin. This provided sources scientific research technical reference bioproduction carotenoids.

In recent years, the frequency of strokes has been on rise year by and become second leading cause death around world, which is characterized a high mortality rate, recurrence disability rate. Ischemic account for large percentage strokes. A reperfusion injury in ischemic complex cascade oxidative stress, neuroinflammation, immune infiltration, mitochondrial damage. Conventional treatments are ineffective, presence blood–brain barrier (BBB) leads to inefficient drug delivery utilization, so researchers turning their attention nano-drug systems. Functionalized systems have widely studied applied study cerebral diseases due favorable biocompatibility, efficiency, strong specificity, specific targeting ability. this paper, we briefly describe pathological process injuries focus therapeutic research progress strokes, aiming provide certain references understand (NDDSs).

So far, the 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) is spreading widely worldwide. The early diagnosis of infection by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) essential to provide timely treatment and prevent its further spread. Lateral flow assays (LFAs) have advantages rapid detection, simple operation, low cost, ease mass production, no need for special devices professional operators, which make them suitable self-testing at home. This review focuses on SARS-CoV-2 based optical LFAs including colorimetric, fluorescent (FL), chemiluminescent (CL), surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) detection antigens nucleic acids. types recognition components, modes used antigen labels employed in different LFAs, strategies improve sensitivity were reviewed. Meanwhile, coupled with acid amplification techniques CRISPR–Cas systems acids summarized. We hope this provides research mentalities developing highly sensitive that can be home infection.
