Despite major advances in reperfusion therapies, morbidity and mortality rates associated with cardiovascular disorders remain high, particularly patients ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). Therefore, identifying prognostic variables that can be used to predict STEMI is critical for better disease management. The HALP (hemoglobin, albumin, lymphocyte, platelet) score, a novel index indicating nutritional status systemic inflammation, provides information about prognosis. In this context, study was carried out investigate the relationship between score assessed at admission in-hospital patients. The population of retrospective consisted 1307 consecutive diagnosed who underwent primary percutaneous coronary intervention (pPCI). 1090 included sample were divided into two groups based on median value 3.59. In-hospital all-cause during follow-up obtained from registry.In-hospital rate significantly higher less than 3.59 compared those more (7.5% 0.7%, respectively; P < 0.001). Univariate multivariate Cox proportional hazard analyses revealed independently mortality. optimal cutoff <3.72 predicted 95.56% sensitivity 49.19% specificity. This study's findings indicate may significant independent predictor treated pPCI.

The Naples prognostic score (NPS) consists of cholesterol level, albumin concentration, lymphocyte-to-monocyte and neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratios reflects systemic inflammation, malnutrition, survival for various conditions. We investigated the relationship NPS at admission with in-hospital follow-up outcomes among ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) patients. This retrospective study included 1887 consecutive patients diagnosed STEMI who underwent primary percutaneous coronary intervention between March 2020 May 2022. population was divided by into 2; low (0-1-2) high (3-4). Non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) encompass a family of ubiquitous RNA molecules that lack protein-coding potential and have tissue-specific expression. A significant body evidence indicates ncRNA's aberrant expression plays critical role in disease onset development. NcRNAs' biochemical characteristics such as disease-associated concentration changes, structural stability, high abundance fluids make them promising prognostic diagnostic biomarkers. Myocardial infarction (MI) is leading cause mortality worldwide. Acute myocardial (AMI), the term use to describe MI's early phase, generally diagnosed by physical examination, electrocardiogram (ECG), presence specific In this regard, compared standard MI biomarkers, cardiac troponin isoforms (cTnT & cTnI) Creatinine Kinase (CK), ncRNAs appears provide better sensitivity specificity, ensuring rapid correct diagnosis, an earlier treatment, consequently good prognosis for patients. This review aims summarize discuss most recent data on clinical circulating Specifically, we focused primarily miRNAs lncRNAs, highlighting their specificity sensitivity, discussing limitations, suggesting possible overcoming approaches.

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic unmasked the huge deficit in healthcare resources worldwide. It highlighted need for efficient risk stratification management of cardiovascular emergencies. To study applicability old, available and affordable nonconventional biomarkers: albumin fibrinogen their ability to predict angiographic severity clinical outcomes patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS).In this prospective, observational study, 166 consecutive ACS were enrolled. Fibrinogen, ratio determined from serum. Patients underlying chronic liver disease, active malignancy, autoimmune COVID-19 infection undergoing thrombolysis excluded.Mean age population was 60.5 ± 1.5 years, 74.1% being males. ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) most common presentation seen 57% patients. Fibrinogen (FAR) ≥ 19.2, had a sensitivity 76.9% specificity 78.9 % [area under receiver operating characteristic curves (AUROC) = 0.8, P 0.001] ≤ (TIMI) 1 flow culprit artery STEMI Even non-STEMI patients, FAR 18.85 predicted same 80% 63% (AUROC 0.715, 0.006).Novel biomarkers, high cost, lack availability long turn over time are impractical real-world use. Identifying TIMI has significant impact outcome. Our shown that readily biomarkers like can help identify these high-risk good accuracy. The Naples score is a new prognostic developed according to inflammatory and nutritional status frequently evaluated in cancer patients. present study aimed evaluate using the (NPS) predict development of decreased left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) after acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). has multicenter retrospective design included 2280 patients with STEMI who underwent primary percutaneous coronary intervention (pPCI) between 2017 2022. All participants were divided into 2 groups their NPS. relationship these LVEF was evaluated. low-Naples risk group (Group-1) 799 patients, high-Naples (Group-2) had 1481 Hospital mortality, shock, no-reflow rates found be higher Group compared 1 (P < .001, P = .032, .004). NPS significantly inversely associated discharge (B coefficient: -1.51, 95% CI-2.26; -.76, .001). NPS, simple easily calculated score, may help identify high-risk To best our knowledge, first demonstrate low STEMI.

Introduction and objective Malondialdehyde (MDA) is a predictive marker of cardiovascular events in patients with stable angina pectoris. However, there limited information available regarding this acute coronary syndrome (ACS). The aim the study was to explore association MDA levels inhospital mortality among ACS. Materials Methods sample consisted 556 ACS patients. leftover plasma samples collected EDTA vials for troponin T estimation within 24 h chest pain were used analysis. Blood into tubes MDA, nitric oxide (NO), inducible synthase (i-NOS), endothelial (e-NOS), total sialic acid (TSA), NT-proBNP, ANP, homocysteine, cardiac I (cTnI). blood centrifuged (4000 g , 4 °C) 10 min, obtained serum then kept at −25 °C until analyses carried out. relationship between these markers investigated. Results Univariate logistic regression analysis revealed significant correlations sex, age, creatine, cTnI, NO, e-NOS, i-NOS, TSA. Further variables using multivariate indicated that NT-proBNP independent predictors. Optimal cutoff value >33.1 predicted 85% sensitivity 88.17% specificity [AUC: 0.905 (95% CI: 0.878–0.928, P < 0.001)]. Conclusion We demonstrated elevated cases optimal specificity.
