The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic significantly disrupted higher education by forcing transition to online learning, which became a mandatory teaching process during lockdowns. Although epidemiological situation has gradually improved since then, learning is becoming ever more popular as it provides new opportunities. Therefore, paper aims present recent research trends concerning in using selected bibliometric approaches. analysis based on 8,303 documents from Scopus database published between January 2020 and March 2022, when repeated lockdowns meant most countries were experiencing constant disruptions educational process. results show that increased interest research, notably English-speaking Asian countries, with being open-access scientific journals. Moreover, topics frequently discussed ICT pedagogy, technology-enhanced education, mental health well-being, student experience curriculum professional development. Online distance instruction (ODI), as a response to COVID-19 restrictions, had great impact on education around the world. The main objective of presented research is monitor students’ opinions and answer question whether teachers enriched face-to-face lessons enhanced by digital technologies (i.e., blended learning) after pandemic with methods tools that they used during ODI in pandemic. Abstract Background The ongoing global crisis of Higher Education (HE) institutions during the post-COVID-19 pandemic period has increased likelihood enduring psychological stressors for staff. This study aimed to identify factors associated with job insecurity, burnout, distress and coping amongst staff working at HE globally. Methods An anonymous cross-sectional was conducted in 2023 across 16 countries. Job insecurity measured using Insecurity Scale (JIS), burnout Perceived Burnout measure question, Kessler Psychological Distress (K10), Brief Resilient Coping Scale. Multivariable logistic regression a stepwise variable selection method used associations. Results A total 2,353 participated; mean age (± SD) 43(± 10) years 61% were females.
