Purpose
This
study
aims
to
evaluate
the
efficiency
performance
of
Organization
Islamic
Cooperation
(OIC)
countries
in
promoting
renewable
energy
development
based
on
income
level
and
region
from
2012
2021,
identifying
key
factors
that
contribute
their
success
or
hinder
progress.
Design/methodology/approach

uses
data
envelopment
analysis
(DEA)

adoption.

labor
force,
gross
domestic
product
export-to-import
ratio,

are
energy’s
share

consumption

electricity

by
GCC
nations

(0.481).

inefficient,
considerable
potential
improvement.

insufficient
