Background: Cuproptosis is a novel type of regulated cell death and reported to promote tumor occurrence progression. However, whether cuproptosis-related signature has an impact on hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) still unclear. Materials methods: We analyzed the transcriptome data HCC from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) International Consortium (ICGC) database, searched for types with different cuproptosis patterns through consistent clustering genes. then constructed Cuproptosis-Related Genes (CRGs)-based risk LASSO COX regression, further its prognosis, clinical characteristics, immune infiltration, drug sensitivity HCC. Results: identified expression changes 10 genes in HCC, all patients can be divided into two subtypes prognosis by applying consensus algorithm. five CRGs, which were highly correlated representative this gene set, namely G6PD, PRR11, KIF20A, EZH2, CDCA8. Patients low CRGs group had favorable prognosis. validated ICGC cohorts got results. Besides, we also discovered that was significantly associated variety landscapes sensitivity. Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) is a common invasive and pernicious cancer with low five-year survival rate. To identify potential therapeutic targets, we first investigated the characteristics of cuproptosis genes (CUGs) in ESCC. The expression patterns 10 CUGs (FDX1, LIPT1, LIAS, DLAT, DLD, PDHA1, PDHB, GLS, MTF1, CDKN2A) were analyzed to ESCC-relevant targets. Weighted correlation network analysis (WGCNA) was performed obtain CUG-related (CRGs). A total seven differentially expressed identified CDKN2A).
