Abstract:
This
review
aims
to
summarize
and
evaluate
the
latest
clinical
evidence
mechanistic
studies
regarding
acupuncture
for
treatment
of
allergic
rhinitis
AR.
Compared
with
traditional
medical
treatment,
has
fewer
side
effects
drug
dependence,
especially
those
patients
who
do
not
respond
well
become
a
new
hope.
By
analyzing
results
from
RCTs,
systematic
reviews,
meta-analyses,
significant
effectiveness
in
improving
AR
symptoms
is
clarified.
We
explore
mechanisms
immune
regulation,
neural
modulation,
inflammation
microbiota
assess
its
efficacy
safety.
The
indicate
that
significantly
alleviates
through
multiple
biological
regulatory
mechanisms.
Future
research
should
further
standardize
protocols
deepen
optimize
application.

Asthma
is
a
chronic
inflammatory
disease
of
the
airways
characterized
by
bronchoconstriction,
airway
hyperresponsiveness,
and
mucus
production.
The
pathophysiology
asthma
involves
complex
interplay
immune
cells
mediators,
including
cytokines,
chemokines,
other
molecules.
Despite
advances
in
management,
many
patients
continue
to
experience
symptoms
due
limitations
current
therapies.
Monoclonal
antibodies
(mAbs)
targeting
specific
mediators
have
improved
treatment
outcomes
for
some
patients,
but
challenges
such
as
poor
tissue
penetration
high
costs
remain.
Nanobodies
(Nbs),
novel
class
single-domain
antibodies,
offer
promising
alternative
their
small
size,
stability,
potential
enhanced
penetration.
This
review
discusses
key
involved
asthma,
treatments,
Nbs
new
therapeutic
strategy.
We
also
explore
studies
innovations
nanobody
technology.

IgE-mediated
allergies
represent
a
major
health
problem
in
the
modern
world.
Apart
from
allergen-specific
immunotherapy
(AIT),
only
disease-modifying
treatment,
researchers
focus
on
biologics
that
target
different
key
molecules
such
as
allergens,
IgE,
or
type
2
cytokines
to
ameliorate
allergic
symptoms.
Single-domain
antibodies,
nanobodies,
are
newcomers
biotherapeutics,
and
their
huge
potential
is
being
investigated
various
research
fields
since
discovery
30
years
ago.
While
they
dominantly
applied
for
theranostics
of
cancer
treatment
infectious
diseases,
nanobodies
have
become
increasingly
substantial
allergology
over
last
decade.
In
this
review,
we
discuss
prerequisites
consider
be
important
generating
useful
nanobody-based
drug
candidates
treating
allergies.
We
further
summarize
available
data
used
allergen
monitoring
detection
probes
therapeutic
approaches.
reflect
limitations
addressed
during
development
process,
vivo
half-life
immunogenicity.
Finally,
speculate
about
novel
application
formats
allergy
might
future.
