In the present study, we investigated effect of dietary supplementation with probiotic Bacillus amyloliquefaciens AV5 (OR647358) on growth, serum and mucus immune responses, metabolomics, lipid metabolism Oreochromis niloticus . Fishes (27.2 ± 1.7 g 9.0 1.2 cm) were fed three distinct meals: a commercial diet (control‐GC) two treatment diets supplemented probiotics at 10 6 (G1) 8 cfu/g (G2), respectively, for 30 days. G2 group, final weight, specific growth rate, weight gain survival feed conversion ratio fish significantly improved ( p < 0.05). Lysozyme, myeloperoxidase, alkaline phosphatase activities in higher 0.05) G1 groups. The total protein, superoxide dismutase, glutathione peroxidase, reactive oxygen species, nitrogen species levels noticeably G2. addition, groups, enzymes involved metabolism, such as pyruvate kinase, 2‐hydroxyethyl‐ThPP, dihydrolipoamide dehydrogenase, increased. Distal gastrointestinal metabolites, glycerophospholipids histidine, observed. These findings strongly indicate that incorporating B. into feeds positively influences immunity, metabolism.

The purpose of the present work was to establish transportation conditions for keeping Trachinotus ovatus alive by means corona-induced dormancy in combination with taurine. It also investigated synergistic regulatory effects on oxidative stress mitigation and immune function during low-temperature clarified underlying mechanism. pretreatment induced pulsed direct current could reduce accumulation reactive oxygen species fish under hypothermal water-restricted significantly enhance environmental adaptability ovatus. survival period rate were increased when combined taurine at a concentration 70 mg/L, activities enzymes related significantly, including catalase, superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione S-transferase, so on. mechanism involved upregulation mRNA expression Nrf2/Keap1 pathway components. Furthermore, supplementation found bolster Histological examinations revealed that exerted protective ultrastructural integrity liver gills, which susceptible stress-induced damage transportation. Altogether, concerted action corona mitigated responses tissue injuries live transportation, thereby providing mechanistic basis enhancement techniques.

Abstract Water temperature is a major environmental factor affecting fish activity, physiology, behavior, and growth. Alpha lipoic acid (ALA) has garnered much attention lately as an aqua feed supplement because of its antioxidant effects. Thus, this study aimed to assess the effect dietary ALA on performance, hematological immunological indices, behavior oxidative stress, apoptosis, genetic inflammation in Oreochromis niloticus following 60 days cold stress. Two hundred forty were divided into four groups (15 fish/replicate, N = fish/group). The control (CNT) reared at 25 °C fed basal diet without any supplementation or containing 600 mg ALA/kg diet, respectively. water-stressed group (CWS) + CWS 18 diets ALA, results revealed that significantly improved utilization growth fish. also mitigated CWS-induced microcytic hypochromic anemia hyperlipidemia. Moreover, considerably enhanced status boosted intestinal α amylase, lipase, protease, serum acetylcholinesterase activity CWS-exposed Besides, reversed upregulation proinflammatory genes, pro-apoptotic heat shock protein, proliferating cell nuclear antigen downregulation superoxide dismutase catalase gene expressions liver spleen tissues. Furthermore, reduced histopathological alterations liver, spleen, intestine. We can conclude (600 mg/kg diet) could be recommended boost growth, capacity, immunity attenuate inflammatory apoptotic reactions under CWS-induced.
