Though the evidence for antibiotic resistance spread via plant microbiome is mounting, studies regarding resistome in seed, a reproductive organ and important food resource, are still their infancy. This study investigated effects of long-term organic fertilization on seed bacterial endophytes, resistome, intergenerational transfer microcosm. A total 99 genes (ARGs) 26 mobile genetic elements (MGEs) were detected by high-throughput quantitative PCR. The amount fertilizer applied was positively correlated to number relative abundance seed-associated ARGs MGEs. Moreover, transmission from rhizosphere mainly mediated shared bacteria Notably, progeny seedlings derived seeds harboring abundant found have higher ARGs. Using structural equation models, we further revealed that MGEs key factors affecting rhizosphere, implying potential reservoir soil. highlights overlooked role endophytes dissemination soil-plant continuum, more attention should be paid as vectors within "One-Health" framework.

Limited knowledge exists regarding the diversity of mangrove plant-associated Pseudarthrobacter species. This study presents first draft genome and phylogenetic analysis a oxydans NCCP-2145, isolated from rhizospheric soil Aviciana marina, native plant found in Miani Hor, Lasbela-Baluchistan, Pakistan. The P. NCCP-2145 comprises 4,495,869 base pairs, with G+C content 65.9% 4,207 coding sequences. Genome annotation revealed presence multiple biosynthesis pathways. also identified genes responsible for growth-promoting traits, such as synthesis indole acetic acid, nitrogen fixation, phosphorus solubilization. Experimental evaluations confirmed strain positive reactions solubilization, indole-3-acetic acid production, ammonia production. Furthermore, exhibited tolerance to heavy metals (nickel, copper, cadmium) salinity levels up 10% NaCl. Antibiotic susceptibility testing indicated resistance only ceftazidime combination amoxicillin/clavulanic acid. For phylogenomic analysis, was analyzed compared closely related validly published type species DSM 20119T, revealing similarity score 98.64% based on 16S rRNA gene sequences 89.1% DNA-DNA hybridization, confirming its classification member species, oxydans. significantly contributes our understanding genomic characteristics, functional capabilities, potential attributes NCCP-2145. Future research should focus unraveling precise mechanisms underlying abilities exploring practical applications sustainable agriculture environmental restoration.
