Due to the increasing use of internet in Iranian society, especially among students, and importance sleep quality (SQ) life (QOL), present study examined relationship between QOL, SQ, addiction (IA) medical science students. In descriptive-analytical study, sample comprised Saveh University Medical Sciences students who were studying 2019. The survey included demographic information (i.e., age, gender, place residence, field semester, marital status, smoking daily exercise) 20-item Internet Addiction Test. From 285 distributed questionnaires, 279 individuals with a mean age 21.01 years (SD ± 3.17) completed survey. Findings indicated that IA had higher scores on (i) all physical dimensions concerning QOL (except for pain) (ii) psychological QOL. findings will help national health authorities planners Iran design appropriate effective interventions improve student prevent IA.

COVID-19 initiated in December 2019 Wuhan, China, and over a period of time, the infection outspread across world rapid pace. To protect people to further limit spread infection, lockdown was declared most parts including India. As all were forced stay indoors during this pandemic, internet only source entertainment whose overuse has side effects on anxiety sleep quality. This study is aimed know impact Internet addiction quality among college students Bhubaneswar city.This web-based cross-sectional, questionnaire study. It administered 475 from six colleges. The assessed by proforma containing demographic details, patterns use, Youngs Addiction Test, Generalised Anxiety disorder score, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index. Statistical analysis done using SPSS version 21.0 Chi-square test Wilcoxon signed-rank test.The mean age group 18.81 ± 1.189. Out students, 60.6% female 39.4% male. 23.6% 13.4% recruited had severe disorder, respectively. global PSQI score 6.356 1.88. About 84.6% poor score. All components significantly associated (P = 0.000) with different degrees except duration 0.589) efficiency 0.767).Females highly addicted than males. findings specified that students' excessive usage leads anxiety, affects mental health. Monitoring controlling through informative sessions how use adequately useful.
