The threat of the Corona virus has had a profound global impact, prompting extensive discussions among academicians and medical researchers seeking to understand its implications across various fields. Consequently this review aims explore COVID-19 research approaches adopted at Lebanese American University (LAU) between 2019 2022 and, eventually shed light on importance academic publications during crisis period in context Lebanon. Studies related "Coronavirus", "SARS-CoV-2," or "COVID-19″ were extracted from SciVal database spanning 2022. identified studies, totaling 97 publications, indexed Scopus Web Science underwent narrative analysis along with an evaluation using predefined scale determine their eligibility. majority studies literature reviews, followed by observational modeling systematic meta-analyses. Using a self-administered online questionnaire, we collected information on sociodemographic characteristics, lifestyle habits, eating behavior using Reasons Individuals Stop Eating-Questionnaire (RISE-Q-15) used twice breakfast/main meal. items were categorized into five scales; decreased food appeal (DFA), physical satisfaction (PS), planned amount (PA), self-consciousness (SC), priority (DPE). All scored from 1 7 ranging 3 21 each scale. paired t-test evaluate difference RISE-Q scores scale concerning two meals. main reason participants stopped breakfast under PS (14.91 ± 3.72), followed by PA (14.58 3.00). meals (14.78 3.56), (14.77 43.81). mean score DPE significantly higher than (p 0.038).
