Food quality and safety are critical public health concerns, with approximately 600 million people worldwide being affected by foodborne diseases each year due to contamination. These not only lead a notable number of deaths but also impose substantial economic burdens, especially in low- middle-income countries. Given the severe risks posed food contaminants, developing advanced, sensitive analytical methods detect such contaminants is essential. Contemporary challenges include detecting at trace levels managing cumulative from simultaneous exposure multiple chemicals. Liquid chromatography, particularly combination high-resolution mass spectrometry (LC/MS), has proven indispensable for key as perfluoroalkyl polyfluoroalkyl substances, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, pesticides, veterinary residues, packaging-derived mycotoxins, pyrrolizidine alkaloids various matrices. The present article reviews recent studies on subject published between 2020 2023.

Emerging contaminants, including pharmaceutical drug molecules, personal care products, and microplastics, are frequently present in the environmental samples. These derived from various sources of municipal wastewater discharges, domestic solid waste dumped on land, disposal farmlands, industrial discharges. These may cause innumerous hazardous effects, particularly endocrine disruption to all organisms exposed such contaminants. The treated sewage sludge is applied agricultural field without screening for emerging contaminants. As a result toxicity organisms, antibiotic-resistant bacteria disseminated environment due occurrence antibacterial drugs samples. It reported that more than 200 different kinds were found river water, ciprofloxacin concentration was up 6.5 mg/l.Global water scarcity has major impact agriculture, leading use farmland. The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recognizes products (PPCPs) as carcinogens disruptors. Many scientists have recently these novel contaminants toxic can affect health. This paper critically analyzes their health.Further, it presents viable solutions manage control them through analytical techniques, artificial intelligence, machine learning methods.
