Quantity and measure value transfer is widely used to examine the correlation between quality of Chinese herbs, herbal intermediates, patent medicines. This study performed a quantity analysis assess total solids yield, phenolic component purity in Salvia miltiorrhiza purified extract (SMPE) preparation process. The amount extracted was 45–250 mg/g following processes reflux extraction, vacuum concentration, lime–sulfuric acid refining, first ethanol precipitation, second acidification, alkalization, thermal hydrolysis, acidification. Regarding yield purity, Danshensu ranked among all components. Additionally, quantitative index defined as variation (TV) proposed describe consistency SMPE batch-to-batch came from variable herb process, latter contributed more. contribution individual (TVP) an impact on consistency. According TVP value, refining precipitation acidification process were deemed crucial. When similarity algorithms for composition intermediates examined, Euclidean distance outperformed Pearson coefficient, Spearman cosine pinch angles. Based average (ΔDj¯) during hydrolysis determined be critical. clarified primary causes fluctuation, identified critical processes, examined pharmaceutical traditional medicine (TCM) standpoint transfer. method can reference other TCM processes.

Abstract Ischemic stroke (IS) remains one of the leading causes death and disability in humans. Unfortunately, none treatments effectively provide functional benefits to patients with IS, although many do so by targeting different aspects ischemic cascade response. The advantages traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) preventing treating IS are obvious terms early treatment global coordination. efficacy TCM its bioactive constituents has been scientifically proven over past decades. Based on clinical trials, this article provides a review commonly used patent medicines herbal decoctions indicated for IS. In addition, paper also reviews mechanisms recent years, both domestically internationally. A comprehensive preclinical studies will hopefully new ideas address threat

Objective: To investigate the effect and mechanism of Danshen Zhizi Compatibility (DZ) on alleviating heart injury cardiac ferroptosis in rats with myocardial infarction. Methods: A rat model infarction was established by ligation left anterior descending artery. The were equally randomly divided into 5 groups. sham group underwent open-chest surgery without arterial ligation, while other 4 groups surgery, including 3 treated low dose (4 g/kg/d), high (8 g/kg/d) DZ supplemented H-89 (0.5 mg/kg/d) respectively. received same volume saline. 14 days after serum tissues harvested to detect cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) protein kinase (PKA) activity, level ferroptosis. Results: G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs) have a binding affinity main components DZ, which indicated that probably contributed ameliorating activating downstream (cAMP)/protein signaling. Treatment significantly increased cAMP concentration serum, PKA activity tissue upregulated perilipin (PLIN)5 expression. attenuated injury, whereas reversed protective effects DZ. In addition, administration inhibited as evidenced reduced malondialdehyde (MDA), 4-hydroxynonenal (4-HNE) levels. glutathione (GSH) levels Glutathione peroxidase (GPX)4 expression tissue, abrogated regulatory Conclusion: Our results demonstrated alleviated through cAMP-PKA signalling pathway.
