Abstract Autoimmune diseases are characterized by the immune system's attack on one's own tissues which highly diverse and differ in severity, causing damage virtually all human systems including connective tissue (e.g., rheumatoid arthritis), neurological system multiple sclerosis) digestive inflammatory bowel disease). Historically, treatments normally include pain‐killing medication, anti‐inflammatory drugs, corticosteroids, immunosuppressant drugs. However, given above characteristics, treatment of autoimmune has always been a challenge. Artemisinin is natural sesquiterpene lactone initially extracted separated from Chinese medicine Artemisia annua L., long history curing malaria. Artemisinin's derivatives such as artesunate, dihydroartemisinin, artemether, artemisitene, so forth, family artemisinins with antimalarial activity. Over past decades, accumulating evidence have indicated promising therapeutic potential diseases. Herein, we systematically summarized research regarding immunoregulatory properties artemisinin its derivatives, discussing their viability toward major underlying mechanisms. This review will provide new directions for basic clinical translational artemisinins.

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a progressive autoimmune disease leading to structural and functional joint damage and, eventually, physical disability. The pathogenesis of the highly complex involves interactions between fibroblast-like synoviocytes (FLSs) immune cells, which stimulate secretion pro-inflammatory factors, chronic inflammation. In recent years, studies have demonstrated importance epigenetics in RA. Specifically, epigenetic alterations been suggested serve as diagnostic treatment biomarkers, while mechanisms are thought be involved Epigenetic regulators coordinate gene expression, case inflammatory diseases, they regulate expression broad range molecules. this review, we discuss current evidence on involvement DNA RNA methylation

Abstract In the present study, molecular dynamics simulation approach has been utilized to investigate effectiveness of four molecules, including Artemisinin, a natural product, and its derivatives Dihydroartemisinin, Artesunate, Artemisone, on cancer cell membrane model. Performed simulations predicted that Dihydroartemisinin Artemisone form stronger hydrogen bonds with membrane, exhibit higher mobility, have longer lifetime at water-membrane interface. molecules could penetrate hydrophobic part lipid’s tail which led fluidity membrane. These two compounds were able exert greatest effect change properties characteristics model while showing anti-cancer effects than other compounds. The outcomes predictions found agree results experimental studies. There is noticeable difference in way enter compared Artemisinin Artesunate. former from functional group side into latter pass it peroxide ring side.
