As
a

Chinese
medicine
formula
used
in
clinical
practice
for
an
extended
period,
Suxin-Hugan-Fang
(SXHGF)
exhibits
excellent
anti-inflammatory
properties.
However,
the
efficacy
of
SXHGF
treating
ulcerative
colitis
(UC)
and
its
mechanism
action
are
still
unclear.

this
study,
therapeutic
effects
on
UC
were
evaluated
using
network
pharmacology
experimental
validation,

also
investigating

to
C57BL/6
mice

mouse
model
colitis,

Objective:
Mendelian
randomization
(MR)
has
been
widely
utilized
for
causal
inference
between
diseases,
and
its
implementation
within
the
domain
of
traditional
Chinese
medicine
(TCM)
is
considered
feasible.
Although
previous
clinical
epidemiological
studies
have
demonstrated
a
close
relationship
insomnia
depression,
inherent
genetic
factors
underlying
these
associations
are
unclear.
The
aim
this
study
was
to
evaluate
depression
via
bidirectional
2-sample
MR
increase
understanding
TCM
theory
treating
different
diseases
with
same
method,
particularly
in
context
comorbid
insomnia.
Methods:
Genetic
data
related
were
extracted
from
published
genome-wide
association
(GWAS)
sets.
Single-nucleotide
polymorphisms
(SNPs)
associated
used
as
instrumental
variables
construct
an
“SNP-exposure-outcome”
model.
