Therefore, 8 wells were analyzed from January to September 2022 using parameters pH, E.C., TDS, % salinity, COD, phosphate, nitrate, sulfate heavy metals Cd, Pb, Zn, Cr Ni, water evaluated a mathematical model based CCME WQI, HPI present salinity. Due 6 moderately suitable 2 difficult use. According WQI criteria, 4 highly 3 contaminated supply use, therefore unusable or limited usable, while usable purposes. For irrigation, only one well showed low marginal contamination. HIP revealed good wells, poor unsuitability (drinking water/ use) very (irrigation), respectively. all approaches, located consistently quality. Thus, had significant area, surface-near here comparatively high levels contaminations due infiltration surface damaged sewage networks rainwater after passing through polluted soils. Cadmium, followed by lead, dominant contaminants, which is why caution advised before this water.

Pb stress, a toxic abiotic critically affects maize production and food security. Although some progress has been made in understanding the damage caused by stress plant response strategies, regulatory mechanisms resistance genes involved to lead crops are largely unknown. In this study, uncover mechanism of phenotype, physiological biochemical indexes, transcriptome, metabolome under different concentrations were combined for comprehensive analysis. As result, development seedlings antioxidant system significantly inhibited especially relatively high concentrations. Transcriptome analysis revealed 3559 co-differentially expressed genes(co-DEG) four concentration treatments (500 mg/L, 1000 2000 3000 mg/L Pb(NO3)2), which enriched mainly GO terms related DNA-binding transcription factor activity, reactive oxygen species, cell death, plasma membrane root epidermal differentiation. Metabolome 72 107 differentially metabolites (DEMs) T500 T2000, respectively, 36 co-DEMs. KEGG DEMs DEGs common metabolic pathway, namely, flavonoid biosynthesis. An association study between biosynthesis-related 20 associated with flavonoid-related metabolites, including 3 genistin 17 calycosin. summary, reveals that metabolism plays an important role maize, not only provides genetic resources improvement tolerance future but also enriches theoretical basis response.

Using carbon-based materials (CBMs) to facilitate phytoremediation shows great promise for simultaneously enhancing the restoration efficiency of contaminated soil and reducing carbon dioxide in context global warming, which is still exploring attempting phase. In addition direct degradation or alteration pollutant bioavailability, CBMs can enhance by alleviating plant nutrient deprivation oxidative stress, as well modulating microbial communities root secretions. Photosynthetic fixation predominantly affects both cycle turnover terrestrial ecosystems. this regard, have extremely positive properties facilitating capture, with intrinsic mechanisms including (1) promoting photosynthetic pigment synthesis acting artificial built-in antennae improve photon capture efficiency, (2) accelerating electron transport rate photosystems, (3) improving Calvin cycle, (4) maintaining structural integrity chloroplasts. Besides, an ultra-stable type CBM derived from waste biomass, biochar preserve native biomass environment decades attenuate rhizosphere priming effect influencing structure aggregates communities, thus retarding organic efflux. This review critically elaborates on assist their effects plant-root balance. Additionally, a simple full-life analysis encompassing cost ecological, economic, social benefits concluded evaluate feasibility sustainability CBMs-phytoremediation systems.

First, activated set enzymes, such SOD (superoxide dismutase), APX (ascorbate peroxidase), CAT (catalase), POD (peroxidase). Second, balanced cellular redox status increasing ratio AsA/DHA (ascorbic acid/dehydroascorbic acid) GSH/GSSG (glutathione/oxidized glutathione).
