During the COVID-19 pandemic, older adults living in community experienced reduced physical activity (PA) and heightened loneliness, particularly those with less frequent outings-a key factor of social frailty. Promoting PA may foster participation, increase outings, reduce loneliness. Abstract Despite internet use potentially reducing loneliness among older adults during the Covid-19 pandemic, quantitative research in this area is limited. Our study addresses gap by exploring how affects worsening old age across Europe from a gendered perspective. We adopt comprehensive approach, considering individual and contextual factors.
