This study examines the impact of teacher motivation on job performance in private primary schools Gasabo District, Rwanda. The research is guided by expected values and principles self-determination. objective to assess state teachers' its relationship performance. A descriptive survey design was used, targeting 18 head teachers 115 42 schools, resulting a sample size 133 respondents selected through stratified sampling. Data collection involved questionnaires, with analysis using inferential data presented tables. findings also established clear positive correlation between incentives performance, reinforcing idea that rewards effectively motivate teachers. Analysis revealed older often performed better, highlighting value experience improving teaching quality. Additionally, adequate salaries were found boost stressing necessity fair compensation maintain motivation.
