Abstract Background Though the severe prevention and control measures faced by Chinese nurses had changed during normalisation stage of coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, they still worked under great stress. Due to a lack related evidence, we aimed investigate prevalence correlates post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) among COVID-19 pandemic measures. Objective: To identify the predictable relationship and differences between perceived social support psychological resilience among medical surgical postgraduate residents. Method: The analytical cross-sectional study was conducted from July to September 2021 at Dr Ruth K.M. Pfau Civil Hospital, Karachi, comprised residents of either gender. Data collected using validated self-administered questionnaires. analysed SPSS 22. Results: Of 200 residents, 100(50%) were surgery Besides, 161 (80.5%) females 39(19.5%) males. overall mean age 27.57+2.13 years. Mean perceive score 62.53+15.41 for 70.40+13.73. Functional gastrointestinal disorders (FGIDs) are of the tract without a clear structural or biochemical cause. FGIDs can interfere with person's daily life. Several psychological conditions cause as psychosomatic disorders. Five factors thought to affect FGID condition, namely Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), life satisfaction, perceived stress, social support, and religiosity.
