In diesem Beitrag wird epistemisches Vertrauen konzeptuell eingeführt und die jüngste empirische Forschung dazu vorgestellt. Epistemisches Vertrauen, eine Errungenschaft von frühen sicheren Beziehungserfahrungen, ist das basale in Person als sichere Informationsquelle. Das Konzept des epistemischen Vertrauens zentrale Charakteristikum für Beziehungsarbeit Veränderungsprozesse der Mentalisierungsbasierten Therapie an­gesehen, findet aber darüber hinaus auch schulübergreifend Eingang andere Therapieansätze, vor allem Arbeit mit strukturell stärker beeinträchtigten Patient:innen. Die entwicklungspsychologische, interpersonelle Sicht auf Stimulierung epistemischem im Kontext Psychotherapie eröffnet neue Perspektive Rolle therapeutischen Beziehung.

Abstract The concept of epistemic trust is gaining traction in the mental health field. It thought to play a foundational role as resilience factor against development and maintenance psychopathology by facilitating social learnings useful navigate modern world. primary aim this study validate French language Epistemic Trust, Mistrust, Credulity Questionnaire (ETMCQ). We further investigate associations with key developmental psychological factors (childhood trauma, mentalizing attachment), besides possible mediating roles between childhood traumatic experiences loneliness psychopathology. 302 participants were recruited for analysis via online survey platform Prolific. Along ETMCQ, measures CTQ-SF, RFQ-8, ECR-R, UCLA-LS SCL-90-R administered. Confirmatory Factor Analysis General Linear Model Mediation conducted. Our shows that ETMCQ represents valid instrument assess trust. find an adequate replication original three-factor solution francophone population 12-item version, exhibiting satisfactory psychometric properties external validity. replicate previous findings demonstrated trust’s attachment style related differences, well effect also observed mediates well-described association add momentum framework considers underlying contributor or alleviation Future research should clinical population, where psychopathological expressions are severe, enduring connected, identifying potential intercessors could help target improve interventions.
