Abstract Background Studies in old adults showed bidirectional interconnections between amnestic mild cognitive impairment (aMCI) and affective symptoms that adverse childhood experiences (ACE) may affect both factors. Nevertheless, these associations be confined to older with clinical depression. Aims To delineate the relationship of aMCI without major depression (MDD) or dysfunctions activities daily living (ADL). Methods This case-control study recruited 61 participants (diagnosed using Petersen’s criteria) 59 excluded subjects MDD ADL dysfunctions. Results We uncovered 2 distinct dimensions, namely distress age (DSOA) comprising anxiety, depression, perceived stress neuroticism scores, (mCoDy) episodic memory test total Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) scores. A large part variance (37.9%) DSOA scores was explained by ACE, negative life events (health financial problems), a subjective feeling decline, education (all positively). While ACE NLE have highly significant impact on DSOA, they are not associated mCoDy Cluster analysis diagnosis is overinclusive because some incorrectly classified as aMCI. The binary major depressive disorder (MDD) diagnosis is inadequate and should never be used in research. study's objective to explicate our novel precision nomothetic strategy for constructing depression models based on adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), lifetime current phenome, biomarker (atherogenicity indices) scores. This study assessed recurrence of illness (ROI: namely episodes suicidal behaviors), behaviors the phenome depression, neuroticism, dysthymia, anxiety disorders, lipid biomarkers (including ApoA, ApoB, free cholesterol cholesteryl esters, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein cholesterol) 67 normal controls 66 MDD patients. We computed atherogenic reverse transport indices. were able extract one factor from a) comprising ROI, traits such as dysthymia b) acute phase (based quality life scores). PLS analysis showed that 55.7 % variance + was explained by increased atherogenicity, neglect sexual abuse, while atherogenicity partially mediated effects neglect. Abstract Background Major depressive disorder (MDD) is considered to be a neuroimmune disorder. However, there are no data regarding the association between comprehensive immune profiles and their interactions with metabolic syndrome (MetS) in predicting neuroticism, suicidal behaviors, severity of outpatient MDD (OMDD). Methods We assayed 48 serum cytokines, chemokines, growth factors using multiplex assay 67 healthy controls 66 OMDD patients. Around 50% control participants had diagnosis MetS. Results Ten differentially expressed proteins (DEPs) were upregulated (i.e., CXCL12, TNFB, PDGF, CCL11, IL9, IL4, CCL5, CCL2, CCL4, IL1RN), indicating an immune, defense stress response. Six DEPs downregulated (VEGFA, IL12, CCL3, CSF1, IL1B, NGF), lowered neurogenesis regulation neuron death. Significant MetS caused a) substantial increases TNF signaling, upregulation IL17, TNF, IL1RN; b) downregulation VEGFA FGF. A large part variance neuroticism (26.6%), behaviors (23.6%), phenome (31.4%) was predicted by immunological TNFB or VEGFA. Discussion characterized immunoneurotoxic profile which partly explains phenome’s severity. Lowered IL-10 increased neurotoxicity characteristics other depression phenotypes, including severe first-episode inpatient MDD. The presence considerably exacerbates immunoneurotoxicity. Consequently, studies should always performed subjects without

Introduction: This study delves into the association between adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and development of health issues behavior in adolescents. The objective is to refine our understanding trajectory problems associated with ACE exposure among this demographic. Methods: Data from 2022 round Bangkok Behavior Surveillance Survey were scrutinized cross-sectional study. Participants, comprising 5740 students 36 educational institutions Bangkok, responded an online questionnaire. questionnaire, consisting 15 items, explored various ACEs. Multiple regression analysis was employed examine relationship levels indicators. Results: Findings revealed that 78.1% participants reported at least one ACE, a higher prevalence females. (0 [ref], 1, 2, 3, 4, 5+) behavioral indicators compared no including substance use (conventional cigarettes odds ratio [OR] 1.94–4.51, e-cigarettes OR 2.16–2.80, alcohol 1.46–3.44, marijuana 2.18–3.09, Kratom 2.05–3.93, illicit drugs 2.61–3.01), engagement sexual activity 1.55–3.26, mental concerns (anxiety OR: 2.39–10.11, depression 1.98–14.26, suicidal thoughts 2.03–13.21, self-harm 2.98–8.09, stress 1.65–6.88). Female histories exhibited poorer health, whereas male demonstrated propensity for abuse. Conclusion: underscores compelling correlation spectrum negative effects risky behaviors Those reporting five or more exposures heightened vulnerability conditions.

Significant associations exist between major depressive disorder (MDD), metabolic syndrome (MetS), and cardiovascular disease, potentially attributable to heightened atherogenicity. This study aimed ascertain if MDD, depression severity, suicidal behaviors, neuroticism associate with elevated pro-atherogenic indices reduced anti-atherogenic indices, including a reverse cholesterol transport (RCT) index. comprised 34 healthy controls 33 MDD patients without MetS, 35 31 MetS. It assessed total (TC) free (FC), high-density lipoprotein (HDLc), low-density (LDLc), triglycerides (TG), apolipoprotein (ApoA), ApoB, esterification rate, RCT composite. No significant lipids were seen in the group that combined individuals In devoid of is significantly correlated (a) FC, TG, Castelli risk index 1, ApoB/ApoA, (b) diminished HDLc, ApoA, there are notable correlations severity depression, tendencies, neuroticism, risk, indices. The link features cannot be adequately estimated by combining participants should examined sample excludes subjects phenome, correlate atherogenicity, which likely implicated pathophysiology MDD. Increased atherogenicity lowered may represent novel drug targets for treatment prevention behaviors.
