Abstract Background Chinese nurses working with immense stress may have issues burnout during COVID-19 regular prevention and control. There were a few studies investigating status of associated factors among nurses. However, the relationships remained unclear. Objectives To investigate nurses’ Methods 784 completed questionnaires including demographics, Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7, Patient Health Questionnaire-9, Insomnia Severity Index, Impact Event Scale-revised, Perceived Social Support Scale, Connor–Davidson Resilience General Self-efficacy Scale Maslach Burnout Inventory. Results 310 (39.5%), 393 (50.1%) 576 (73.5%) respondents at high risk emotional exhaustion (EE), depersonalization (DP) reduced personal accomplishment (PA). The EE, DP PA moderate, high. Nurses intermediate senior professional rank title worked >40 h every week had lower scores in EE. Those low-risk department reported PA. The rapid development of China's 5G 'Internet Plus' industry has led to increasing use the Internet provide healthcare services. Internet-based services in China are already widely used prevent, identify, monitor, and manage mental disorders, but few these have been formally evaluated. To a clear baseline this rapidly evolving field, we searched articles published before December 31, 2022, about internet-based interventions surveys for health-related conditions five international databases (Web Science, PubMed, PsycINFO, Embase, Cochrane Library) four Chinese (CNKI, SinoMed, VIP, WanFang). 143 identified studies-54 89 English-described individuals with community residents, college students, older adults, pregnant women, health professionals. number studies, which were mainly conducted economically developed regions country, quadrupled after 2019 onset COVID-19 pandemic. <abstract><sec> <title>Background</title> <p>With its abrupt and huge health socio-economic consequences, the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic has led to a uniquely demanding, intensely stressful, even traumatic period. Healthcare workers (HCW), especially nurses, were exposed mental challenges during those challenging times.</p> </sec><sec> <title>Objectives</title> <p>Review current literature on problems among nurses caring for COVID-19 patients.</p> <title>Methods</title> <p>This is narrative review critical evaluation of relevant publications.</p> <title>Results</title> <p>Nurses experienced higher levels stress, burnout, anxiety, depression, frustration, stigma, depersonalization compared other HCW. Factors that increased this symptomatology included concerns about infection or family members, inadequate staff protective equipment, extended working hours, insufficient information, reduced sense security, post-traumatic stress disorder. The factors improved psychopathology general positive attitude, job satisfaction, adequate information education, harmonious group relationships, development, emotional intelligence, psychological counseling, mindfulness-based reduction, stable leadership, guidance, moral practical administrative support.</p> <title>Conclusions</title> <p>Recent studies clearly show women, are most vulnerable subgroup HCW particularly prone impacts pandemic. documented vulnerability frontline nursing requires preventive management actions increase resilience develop defense mechanisms.</p> </sec></abstract>

Abstract Background: The 2022 Shanghai COVID-19 lockdown may bring about great psychological problems to patients. We aimed examine the prevalence and correlates of mental health among patients. Methods: 208 patients were recruited in Shanghai, China through convenience sampling method. Demographic scales questionnaires (GAD-7, PHQ-9, ISI, IES-R) applied. Binary logistic regression analysis was adopted detect associated factors. Results: incidence rates anxiety, depression, insomnia, PTSD 6.7%, 12.0%, 9.6%, 23.1% under stage lockdown, respectively. The results indicated that married subjects (OR=19.69, 95% CI= [2.26-171.86], P<0.01) showed higher levels whereas who had college degree or above (OR=0.19, [0.04-0.86], P<0.05) respondents children (OR=0.04, [0.04-0.47], might experience lower anxiety. female have less insomnia (OR=0.33, [0.12-0.89], P<0.05). Conclusion: Special attention interventions should be paid infected patients, especially for people being married, obtaining educational degree, having no child, male.
