Background: Serological studies on the association between disease severity and humoral immunity against SARS-CoV-2 during first wave of COVID-19 pandemic remains inconclusive. This study focused immune responses antigen-specific isotypespecific antibodies from infected patients with different prior to implementation national vaccination program in Philippines. Methods: analyzed 177 biobank serum samples 67 hospitalized adult RT-PCR-confirmed pandemic. Immunoglobulin (Ig) G, IgM, IgA S1, S2, RBD, N proteins, as well IgG human ACE2, were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Serum neutralization capacity was 1) ACE2-RBD binding inhibition 2) pseudovirus assay. The relationship various clinical parameters determined.Findings: IgG, antibody associated within two weeks after symptom onset. IgM response positively correlated inflammatory markers ferritin C-reactive protein. IgM-N particular shown predict in-hospital mortality. However, patient sera lacked neutralizing activity Wuhan strain. On other hand, anti-ACE2 detected cohort, levels not or markers.Interpretation: Most early had high SARSCoV-2 but low capacity. Moreover, role implications ofdetectable ACE2 need further investigation.Funding: did receive any funding.Declaration Interest: We declare no competing interests.Ethical Approval: conducted approval University Philippines Manila Institutional Ethics Review Board (UPMREB 2020-0801-01).

Abstract Background The incidence of lung cancer combined with pulmonary tuberculosis has been increasing, but there is relatively limited published literature on the topic (LC‐PTB) from a bibliometric perspective. Therefore, in this study, we aimed to quantitatively analyze LC‐PTB‐related better understand current status field and identify future research trends. Methods We searched for articles related LC‐PTB using Web Science Core Collection (SCI‐E) conducted visual analysis publication quantity, countries, institutions, authors, journals, references, keywords software (CiteSpace, VOSviewer, Scimago Graphica). Results As January 8, 2024, total 460 publications were included 3705 retrieved records. number increasing almost yearly, most China ( n = 123), followed by United States 77). Background Evaluating immune responses following COVID-19 vaccination is paramount to understanding vaccine effectiveness and optimizing public health interventions. This study seeks elucidate individuals’ status after administering a second dose of diverse vaccines. By analyzing through serological markers, we aim contribute valuable insights into the uniformity performance. Methods A total 80 participants were enrolled in this study, with demographic infection-related data collected for categorization. Serum samples acquired within specified timeframe, SARS-CoV-2 IgM/IgG rapid tests conducted. Moreover, CTLA-4 levels measured ELISA assays, allowing us assess comprehensively. The divided eight groups based on various factors, facilitating multifaceted analysis. Results outcomes our investigation demonstrated consistent across types vaccines administered Iraq. Statistical analysis revealed no significant distinctions among categories. In contrast, differences observed control group (non-infected/non-vaccinated, infected/non-vaccinated) infected/Pfizer, non-infected/Pfizer, infected/Sinopharm, non-infected/sinopharm (P = 0.001, < 0.023, respectively). suggests that these exhibit comparable eliciting an response participants. Conclusions conclusion, study’s results underscore lack discriminatory variations between different utilized uniform signify equitable efficacy performance Despite minor quantitative discrepancies, do not hold statistical significance, reaffirming notion serve similar purpose conferring protection against COVID-19.
