Background Physical activity (PA) is associated with higher levels of PWB and happiness. The high prevalence physical inactivity among the Iranian population concerning. Moreover, according to Happiness Report 2024, Iran ranked 100th out 143 countries. Thus, this research aimed study PWB, happiness, PA in age groups. Methods sampled 1,050 participants, equally divided into young, middle-aged, elderly groups, using randomized cluster sampling from urban areas across five geographic regions Iran. utilized four questionnaires: a Demographic Information Questionnaire, International Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ), Ryff’s Scales (18-item form), Oxford (OHQ). Descriptive statistics were used for summarizing data, inferential analyses included Pearson’s correlation coefficient, one-way ANOVA, Bonferroni test, multivariate regression, all significance level set at P<0.05. Results Middle-aged individuals had highest (1015.69±730.63 MET-minutes per week) reported happiness (111.97±24.08) (63.75±11.17) levels. lowest (677.78±592.50 week), (107.63±24.01), (60.05±10.02). Statistical tests showed significant differences PA, between groups (P<0.05), no difference young (P>0.05). positively correlated especially elderly. Multivariate regression revealed that significantly predicts (F = 30.993, t 6.96, B 0.211) 86.85, 9.32, 0.004), explaining 4.4% 8.0% their variances, respectively. Background Social capital, as a multidimensional social science concept, plays crucial role in promoting physical activity. Despite numerous studies exploring the relationship between capital and activity, there is still lack of systematic understanding how different dimensions influence activity levels. This study aims to systematically review literature up 2024 on uncover identify its impacts. Methods We used combination search terms including “social capital” “physical activity” Web Science, PubMed, Scopus, SportDiscus, PsychINFO databases for English published March 1, 2024. Results identified 2,021 unique articles reviewed 115 that met our inclusion criteria. These evaluated various with key participation (34%), networks (30%), cohesion trust (29%), overall network (26%), support (19%), safety norms reciprocity (13%), control (10%), satisfaction environment (8%), collective efficacy (4%), (3%), voting (1%). In majority positive results hypothesized direction were observed such cohesion, trust, participation, reciprocity, environment, networks. contrast, voting, efficacy, safety, control, predominantly showed null or negative results. The mixed, displaying positive, negative, outcomes, while findings also mixed. Conclusion reveals significant particularly network. A growing body of research has demonstrated the potential role for physical activity as an intervention across mental and other medical disorders. However, association between suicidal ideation, attempts, deaths not been systematically appraised in clinical samples. We conducted a PRISMA 2020-compliant systematic review searching MEDLINE, EMBASE, PsycINFO observational studies investigating influence on behavior up to December 6, 2023. Of 116 eligible full-text studies, seven (n = 141691) were included. Depression was most frequently studied condition (43%, k 3), followed by chronic pain common (29%, 2). Two case-control examined suicide attempts found reduced frequency such attempts. examining ideation (k 3) or 2), no consistent associations with observed.
