This study aimed to investigate the validity reliability of SDS in college students China. After translating culturally adapting original version into Chinese, was tested on sample 1302 students. The were assessed utilizing SPSS 25.0, AMOS 25.0 Mplus 8.3. Parallel analysis, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) Confirmatory (CFA) performed analysis. Criterion-related by correlation analysis with mobile phone addiction (MPAI). Cronbach's alpha coefficients intraclass (ICC). EFA parallel revealed three-factor structure. identified factor loadings three factors (14 items), explaining total variance 60.73%. CFA model fit good (χ2/df = 4.644, RMSEA 0.047, GFI 0.930, CFI 0.955, SRMR 0.047), multigroup confirmatory indicated measurement invariance gender. Both convergent discriminant established. criterion-related established based significant (r =0.758) MPAI. coefficient 0.916, split-half 0.769, demonstrating satisfactory internal consistency. score ICC 0.907, stability SDS. Based these data, Chinese demonstrated students.
