Reviewing the coupling coordination between urban ecological resilience (UER) and new-type urbanization (NU) has gradually become a necessary condition for understanding structure service patterns of systems. Discussion on temporal spatial evolution in UER NU agglomerations with different characteristics is beneficial operational mechanisms ecosystems. This work constructs novel evaluation framework process NU, scientifically measures performance each indicator using entropy method CRITIC method. By degree (CCD) model, this paper explores spatio-temporal effects relationship which narrowed cognitive gap. Using Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle China as an example, validity practicality are verified. The results show that CCD generally shows rapid growth trend time tends to be balanced; development significant differences influenced by factors such location advantage, natural resources, human social activities. These findings can provide decision-making information reference system services, livability, government planning.

To realize the coordinated development of urbanization and ecological environment is a research hotspot in recent years. There very complicated relationship between them. Understanding their key to development. In this paper, long-term dynamic balance behavior was studied by means equilibrium model error correction (ECM) based on data Shandong Province. order comprehensively reflect environment, paper employed comprehensive evaluation construct index respectively, used coupling coordination degree (CDE) relative (RDE) study changes two. The results showed that: (1) Province becoming more harmonious, type them has gradually developed from extremely uncoupling (EUC) highly (HC) type; (2) long run, there Province, can be achieved through short-term adjustment. Therefore, correct understanding laws provide corresponding theoretical basis for policy makers, shorten time reach an state.

Abstract Urban expansion poses a substantial challenge to sustainable regional development, but the spatiotemporal relationship between urban and human development remains unclear. This paper proposed an improved index (IHDI) incorporating environmental dimension analyzed correlation IHDI growth in China from 1990 2020. Significant increases both levels were observed, differences Eastern Western effectively detected based on IHDI, which also well reflected geographical patterns bounded by Hu Huanyong Line. In 1990, significant disparity existed provincial capital cities entire province; 2020, this gap had narrowed, prioritized of capitals subsequently propelled growth. Although positive correlations found 2010 percentage expansive negative decoupling gradually increased, indicating less involved China. study contributes comprehensive understanding provides valuable insights for achieving goals

The quantitative evaluation of the coupling coordination degree (CCD) between regional economy and eco-environment systems is great importance for realization sustainable development goals, which could identify economic or eco-environmental cold areas. To date, traditional frameworks mainly include indicator system construction based on statistical data, seldom utilize geo-spatiotemporal datasets. Hence, this study aimed to evaluate CCD change trend Yangtze River Delta (YRD) explore relationship CCD, economy, county scale. In study, YRD was selected as area its level at different periods, then nighttime difference index (NTDI) comprehensive (ECEI) were calculated represent in quality (EEQ). two analyzed using global, local, Geary’s C spatial autocorrelation indicators, addition methods. main findings showed that: (1) During period 2000–2020, a continuously upward (0.0487 a−1), with average NTDI values 0.2308, 0.2964, 0.3223, 0.3971, 0.4239, respectively. terms, distribution “high east low west”. (2) YRD’s EEQ indicated gradual (from 0.3590 2000 0.3970 2020), value 0.0020 a−1. Spatially, regions high ECEI located southwestern counties. (3) past 20 years, an increased trend, 0.0302 five periods 0.3992, 0.4745, 0.4633, 0.5012, 0.5369. overall improved from “moderate incoordination” “low coordination”. (4) Both indexes have positive effect improvement CCD. However, contribution little higher than that ECEI.

Human settlements suitability (HEI) is the foundation of urban development and critical for achieving sustainable United Nations' goals. Existing studies on HEI have paid little attention to characteristics at different scales climate zones or spatial differences along urban–rural gradients (URGs). This study used multisource data select natural humanistic elements constructed a framework evaluating 31 provincial capital cities in China, aiming address limitations. The results showed that: (1) China ranged from 0 51.54, showing an overall increasing trend northwest southeast, coastal was considerably higher than that inland cities. (2) built-up areas conformed gradually with expansion scales, obvious average zones, shown as follows: tropical monsoon > subtropical temperate plateau mountain continental. (3) When distance city centre increased, decreasing HEI, albeit varying degrees decrease. Further, discrepancies URGs were closely related zones. Scientific objective evaluation prerequisite optimising patterns national planning. Based multidimensional perspectives URGs, breadth research has been enriched, which strategic significance governing planning augmenting competitiveness.

The classification of urban functional zones is crucial for improving land use efficiency and promoting balanced development across areas. Existing methods classifying using mobile signaling data face challenges primarily due to the limitations single sources, insufficient utilization multidimensional data, inherent inaccuracies in data. To address these issues, this study proposes an innovative method that employs advanced multimodal fusion techniques enhance accuracy reliability zone classification. Mobile are mapped into image timestamp geographic location information combined with point interest (POI) construct a comprehensive dataset. Deep learning then applied fuse features, enabling precise reliable zones. experimental results demonstrate achieves 95.128% zones, significantly outperforming single-modal
