Abstract Cognitive and physical stress have significant effects on brain health, particularly through their influence the central executive network (CEN). The CEN, which includes regions such as dorsolateral prefrontal cortex, anterior cingulate cortex inferior parietal lobe, is to managing demands of cognitively challenging motor tasks. Acute can temporarily reduce connectivity within leading impaired cognitive function emotional states. Despite growing evidence linking 24-h movement behaviors to health outcomes, there is limited research examining these relationships among university students in Southeast Asia. Therefore, the purpose of this study was examine prevalence and associations adherence guidelines (HMG) with dietary behaviour mental ASEAN. A multi-center cross-sectional survey conducted 2015 included 3223 from five ASEAN nations-Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam-aged 18 30 years, selected by stratified random sampling. Established measures demographics, social support, perceived stress, self-rated status, body mass index, six behaviours, eight (24-HMG) assessed based on self-reported physical activity (≥ 150 min/week), sedentary time (≤ 480 min/day), screen 180 sleep duration (7-9 h). The relationship between indicators meeting 24-HMG number investigated using logistic regression models, adjusted for relevant confounders. Among 3,223 participants, 11.7% met all three guidelines, while 13.1% none, 37.6% either one or two guidelines. Adherence higher males, participants aged 22-30 those lower-income countries (Indonesia, Vietnam). Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental condition marked by difficulties with attention, increased activity levels, and impulsive behaviour, which can impact social, academic, work-related performance. Its presence in adults often overlooked inadequately addressed. Emerging research suggests link between ADHD unhealthy lifestyles, including sedentary substance use, effort discounting, decision-making process where individuals undervalue rewards requiring significant physical or cognitive effort. This study investigates the association symptoms, indicators of lifestyles young adults. We recruited 181 participants aged 18-33 years. They completed Effort-Expenditure for Rewards Task (EEfRT) hypothetical effort-discounting task, alongside questionnaires assessing developmental co-ordination (DCD) activity, alcohol, tobacco drug use. A logistic mixed model was used to analyze decisions, while regression analyses assessed influence symptoms discounting on lifestyle indicators. EEfRT decisions were significantly influenced reward probability, monetary value, medication status, whereas choices task money, symptoms. When exploring all variables, positively correlated smoking, DCD. Effort associated smoking higher BMI alcohol consumption. Linear regressions suggested that lifestyle, status explained These findings highlight need targeted interventions addressing both symptomatology factors improve outcomes affected individuals.
