Abstract: A systematic approach was employed with the objective of compiling updated and more promising information on quality soybean seeds, traits, treatments analysis techniques. Among 6,899 academic materials retrieved between 2017 2022, 57 them were included in study, separated into three groups: Group 1 - Theoretical addressing traits related to seed vigor, which can be used biotechnological strategies improvement different species; 2 Practical that apply techniques treatment seeds; 3 evaluate vigor seeds. From used, it possible observe several genes, proteins QTLs are associated vigor. Seed focus use biological physical products, but there is a lack studies validating these benefits field. methods for evaluating image (visible light, LIBS, NIR, FTIR, FT-NIR, HSI-NIR, FHSI, Hyperspectral, Fluorescence spectral) software (Vigor-S®, SVIS®, SAPL®, IJCropSeed, Ilastik, VideometerLab®, MATLAB, ENVI®) stand out.

This review analyzed 471 journal articles focusing on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in the agri-food sector. Using bibliometric analysis and systematic literature techniques, it aimed to uncover key debates insights. It examined relevant data by employing tools like HistCite 12.03.17, VOSviewer 1.6.19, CiteNetExplorer 1.0.0. Furthermore, using content analysis, was classified discussed under six main clusters: IPR's impact technology innovation, influence seeds, role sustainable development, intersections between IPR research discussions geographical indications (GIs), management policy. These clusters provided diverse perspectives sector, ranging from fostering innovation sustainability concerns about power concentration, farmer rights, environmental impacts, socioeconomic outcomes. GIs were unanimously recognized for safeguarding product reputation tied specific regions. The summarized intricate relationship development effective policy considerations. Overall, sector offers diverse, sometimes conflicting views with limited empirical research. As a result, further comprehensive investigations are required understand subject better inform policymakers.

Abstract We report the results of a novel worldwide survey on how adequate are existing policy instruments (if any) across 169 targets Sustainable Development Goals. By obtaining more than 130,000 responses about 146 countries from 7000 experts, large‐scale picture existence and adequacy emerges. This provides first dataset depicting current state world according to well prepared (in terms instruments) regions tackle challenges posed by 2030 Agenda. combine these data with official UN SDG indicators identify that systematically exhibit weaknesses in their historical performance available instrument, revealing key issues need be prioritised through interventions go beyond allocation financial resources.

This paper summarises institutional and policy bottlenecks to IPM in Africa. Agricultural Africa generally prioritises production productivity above environmental sustainability, so the use of synthetic pesticides for controlling pests is encouraged. Funding research limited, extension systems struggle provide level farmer support that adoption often needs. Improved policies could facilitate uptake IPM. Public private food-safety standards can incentivise adoption, but currently this mainly export. Pesticide other input regulatory unintentionally constrain IPM, through expensive registration procedures, weak compliance monitoring limited regional harmonisation. must be seen as a key element food-system transformation.
