Resveratrol is a natural polyphenol with important anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties for treating cardiometabolic disorders. Therefore, the present meta-analysis aimed to review investigate oral resveratrol supplementation effects on metabolic syndrome (MetS) components. The bibliographic search was carried out in 2023 following databases: PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus. Studies that investigated MetS parameters were included. Statistical analyses performed using RevMan Software V.5.3. main findings showed significantly decreased systolic diastolic blood pressure while having no significant waist circumference high-density lipoprotein levels. In addition, glucose level subgroup studies reporting change from baseline means, although overall effect not statistically (p = 0.81), triglyceride levels increased after treatment period. conclusion, evidenced potential therapeutic improving some features, especially regarding pressure, reduction; however, results are still borderline sometimes controversial, which might be justified by methodological statistical heterogeneity studies, latter varying 17 57%.

We aimed to investigate the role of capsaicin (CAP) in modulating lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced hepatic and intestinal inflammation, oxidative stress, its colonic microflora mice. Thirty healthy male Kunming mice with similar body weights were randomly assigned three groups: control group (CON), LPS group, CAP ten each group. The CON groups received a daily dose normal saline, respectively, while an equivalent CAP. On 28th day experiment, intraperitoneally injected LPS, was equal volume saline. results lead following conclusions. Compared improved loss lobular structure significantly increased duodenal villus length ratio crypt depth. colon interleukin-10 (IL-10) decreased IL-6, IL-1β, tumor necrosis factor (TNF-α) levels. also catalase (CAT), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px), superoxide dismutase (SOD) expression, malondialdehyde (MDA) relative abundances

Oxidative stress is a key factor in the pathological processes that trigger various chronic liver diseases, and significantly contributes to development of hepatocarcinogenesis. Natural antioxidants reduce oxidative by neutralizing free radicals play crucial role treatment free-radical-induced diseases. However, their efficacy often limited poor bioavailability metabolic stability. To address these limitations, recent advances have focused on developing nano-drug delivery systems protect them from degradation enhance therapeutic potential. Among several critical benefits, they showed be able improve targeted delivery, thereby reducing off-target effects specifically directing antioxidant tumor site. Moreover, nanosystems led sustained release, prolonging effect over time. Some also exhibited synergistic when combined with other agents, allowing for improved overall efficacy. This review aims discuss scientific nano-formulations containing natural molecules, highlighting potential as promising approaches cancer. The novelty this lies its comprehensive focus latest developments

Oxidative stress is a common phenomenon of many liver disorders; it both affects patient survival and directly influences the applicability, effectiveness, toxicity drugs. In pursuit reliable natural remedies for hepatoprotection, this study reports on complete phytochemical characterization, antioxidant, hepatoprotective activities Prenanthes purpurea methanol-aqueous extract in an vitro model diclofenac-induced injury (DILI). An ultra high-performance liquid chromatography-high-resolution mass spectrometry analysis (UHPLC-HRMS) was conducted, delineating more than 100 secondary metabolites first time species, including series phenolic acid-hexosides, acylquinic, acylhydroxyquinic acyltartaric acids, flavonoids. Quinic acid, chlorogenic, 3,5-dicaffeoylquinic 5-feruloylhydroxyquinic caffeoyltartaric cichoric eryodictiol-O-hexuronide, luteolin O-hexuronide dominated profile most likely contributed to observed activity studied P. leaf extract. The potency molecular basis cellular protection were investigated parallel with pure caffeoylquinic acids pretreatment experiments that verified antiapoptotic antioxidant properties products.
