Oxidative
stress
refers
to
the
phenomenon
in
which
redox
balance
of
body
is
disrupted

widely

pharmacologically

for
treatment

Polygonum
viviparum
L.
(PV)
herbal
medicine
with
antioxidant
properties
used
as
traditional
Tibetan
Plateau
region.
However,
there
few
studies
that
focused
on
its
activity
mechanism
action
vitro
vivo.
Therefore,
present
study
firstly
demonstrated
PV
could
exert
good
effects
by
scavenging
DPPH
radicals
inhibiting
production
hydroxyl
through
experiments.
Secondly,
was
proven
attenuate
weight
gain
thymus
development
establishing
Senna
leaf-induced
diarrhea
model
rats,
well
increase
enzymes
content
non-enzymatic
antioxidants
intestinal
tract
enhance
rats’
own
defenses,
mitigate
damage
caused
diarrhea.
Subsequently,
application
cellular
evidenced
play
protective
role
against
overaccumulation
ROS
macrophages.
Furthermore,
candidate
targets
were
analyzed
screened
using
comprehensive
network
pharmacology
method,
their
expression
then
examined
at
mRNA
level
protein
level.
Our
results
suggest
may
protect
H2O2-induced
macrophages
activating
BCL2L1
ESR1,
JAK2/STAT3,
MMP2.
These
findings
open
new
perspectives
prospect
developing
it
novel
drug.
