The comprehensive protection and restoration of mountains, rivers, forests, farmlands, lakes, grasslands, deserts is critical for enhancing ecological environmental quality fulfilling the aspirations civilization in modern era. Centered on key project area Mountain-River Project within Luohe River Basin Eastern Qinling Mountains, this study employs InVEST model to assess spatiotemporal variations habitat (HQ), water yield (WY), carbon sequestration (CS), soil retention (SR) years 2000, 2010, 2020. This further examines trade-offs synergies among these ecosystem services, integrates Ordered Weighted Averaging (OWA) GIS methodology with human activity patterns, determines optimal management scenario, offers targeted recommendations optimization. findings reveal that areas high quality, sequestration, are predominantly concentrated western southwestern regions basin, whereas high-value zones primarily situated southern sectors. Habitat demonstrates significant other presents a notable trade-off retention. By conducting comparative analysis efficiency, we identified priority conservation located basin. Moreover, through overlaying Human Footprint Index (HFI), was precisely delineated encompass 5.41 × 105 hectares. provides guidance implementation substantial value scientifically advancing initiatives.

The ecosystem service value (ESV) is an important basis for measuring ecological environment’s quality and the efficient management of ecosystems. It particularly necessary to explore a proven methodology assessing predicting ESV dynamics coupled with policy-oriented scenarios that can provide theoretical groundwork macro decision, in context implementing protection restoration projects. This study selected land cover (LC) Sichuan Province at five periods spatiotemporal dynamic equivalent factor method assess ESVs from 2000 2020. Additionally, Markov chain GeoSOS-FLUS model, predicted future pattern under four development scenarios. results show (a) areas forests, shrubs, waters, wastelands, wetlands, impervious showed continuous increase 2020, most frequent interchanges occurring among croplands, grasslands. (b) implementation projects led 13,083.32 × 108 yuan ESV, barycenter located northeastern part Ya’an exhibits tendency move towards northeast. (c) aggregation each city has remained unchanged, Ganzi being only high aggregation. Overall, there are more conflict cities than coordination between economic environment. (d) total 2025 will continue all scenarios, reaching maximum 50,903.37 EP scenario. insights planning decisions sustainable regional socio-economic development.

Based on land use data from the Wuling Mountains area of Hunan Province for 2000, 2010, and 2020, we used tools such as frastats4.8 ArcGIS10.8 to construct a model assessing ecosystem service value ecological risk index. We divided into four regions based indicators, which served foundation zoning proposed strategy an security pattern that suits ecology region. The results showed general increase in both study 2000 2020. annual exceeded CNY 300 × 109, with forests providing more than 77% this value, regulating services accounted 68% total value. mean indexes periods 2020 were 0.0384, 0.0383, 0.0395, respectively. sizes zones within remained relatively stable: barrier zone 53% over three years; improvement zone, approximately 32%; control comprised 8.62% proportion rose 9.56% conservation had smallest among zones. Our research provides comprehensive analytical framework constructing patterns other developing countries offers new perspective regional management planning.

Human actions have led to consistent and profound alterations in land use, which turn had a notable effect on the services provided by ecosystems. In this research, Google Earth Engine (GEE) was initially employed perform supervised classification of Landsat satellite images from 2000 2020, allowed us obtain land-use data for Putian City, China. Next, geo-informatic Tupu model revised valuation were used explore spatial attributes ecological effects changes (LUCs). Subsequently, EEH (eco-economic harmony), ESTD (ecosystem tradeoffs synergies degree index), ESDA (exploratory analysis) methods further analyze coordination level, trade-offs, synergies, patterns ecological-economic system development. The findings revealed that: (1) composition City predominantly cultivated forest land, with other types intermixed. Concurrently, there an ongoing trend expansion urban areas. (2) ESV exhibited upward trend, increasing 15.4 billion CNY 23.1 2020. (3) imbalance distribution, high-high agglomeration areas concentrated central part coastal region Hanjiang District, while low-low prevalent Xianyou County southwest, Xiuyu District along coast, Licheng center. (4) Synergistic relationships among ESs predominated, though trade-off relationship showed tendency expand. (5) environment economic progress collectively faced potential risk. study are intended serve as guide improving distribution resources developing strategies that ensure sustainable development region’s socio-economic framework.

Aligned with the imperatives of national ecological civilization construction, systematic investigation into intricate interplay between shifts in land utilization and assessment ecosystem services plays a pivotal indispensable role advancing civilization. This endeavor holds significant implications. It aids optimizing landscape at regional level fosters harmonious coexistence humanity natural world. The study utilizes land-use remote sensing interpretation data from three time periods (2000, 2010, 2020) employs various methodologies, including equivalent factor coefficient correction, sensitivity analysis, spatial autocorrelation. objective is to uncover spatiotemporal dynamics changes Ecosystem Service Value (ESV) Lanzhou City. Furthermore, geographic detectors are applied explore driving factors influencing ESV heterogeneity their interactions. research findings indicate following: (1) From 2000 2020, grassland cropland were predominant types City, urban experiencing most active changes. (2) City increased 179.37 billion RMB 193.86 reflecting an total growth rate 8.07% gradual improvement environment. Spatially, exhibits "west high, east low" distribution pattern, center shifting towards northwest southeast, gradually reducing imbalance. (3) Analysis autocorrelation reveals that high-high clusters predominantly found within Tulu Gou National Forest Park Xinglong Mountain Natural Reserve, while low-low primarily concentrated central area Over period clustering effect has progressively intensified. 4)NDVI, precipitation, GDP emerge as differentiation societal elements exerting interactive effects on disparities. results integrate environmental considerations decision-making process, offering valuable insights for formulating targeted protection policies embodies concrete measures taken by practicing China's concept "green water green mountains golden silver mountains," providing theoretical basis sustainable development economy.
