Electric vehicles (EVs) play a vital role in the transition to renewable energy and decarbonisation, there is increasing global interest expanding their use. However, growing number of EVs poses challenges electricity grid due demand. Vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology can address these issues by allowing for charge discharge energy, thus helping balance when needed. Aggregating designated parking areas optimises transfer, making it crucial identify suitable locations forecast available from parked vehicles. A spatial–temporal framework ensures that V2G services operate efficiently considering both location timing vehicle parking. This paper reviews studies on temporal–spatial demand, identifying high-demand such as shopping centres workplaces, where park extended periods. Strategic hubs seamless integration into existing mobility patterns without disrupting users’ routines. In addition, this review examines user acceptance, technical feasibility, V2G’s reducing demand peaks. The findings indicate potential effectively implemented enhance stability efficiency while minimising disruptions EV users.

In a global context characterized by climate warming, the transport sector has found use of electric vehicles to be one possible measures decarbonization. Although purchase rate this type vehicle is still low, there are many research fields related both development charging network and improvement batteries ensure features that meet expectations users. Moreover, increase electricity can cause issues in electrical stability, especially during peak hours. Therefore, facing new challenges, including case vehicle-to-grid (V2G), which solution allows batteries, not only as source energy for vehicles, but also stabilizers supply when parked (i.e., no needed their activity). recent years, researchers mainly focused on infrastructure technologies, neglecting problems identification best locations V2G services potential acceptance vehicles’ owners, well transferred grid according users’ needs (e.g., continue completing daily activities). This paper proposes methodology aimed at identifying areas deploying using floating car data (FCD) estimating without interfering with activities. finally applied study five provinces Veneto region, showing significant results obtained.
