Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) represents one of the most aggressive and metastatic brain tumors, with a dismal success rate less than three percent after five years, particularly in tumors active immune checkpoints. Excessive daily exposure of human skin to natural UVA radiation leads impaired redox homeostasis in epidermal keratinocytes, resulting changes their proteome. Abstract Stem cells play a critical role in human tissue regeneration and repair. In addition, cancer stem (CSCs), subpopulations of sharing similar characteristics as normal cells, are responsible for tumor metastasis resistance to chemo‐ radiotherapy relapse. Interestingly, all have cannabinoid receptors, such cannabidiol (CBD), that perform biological functions. The aim this systematic review was analyze the effect CBD on both somatic (SSCs) CSCs. Of 276 articles analyzed, 38 were selected according inclusion exclusion criteria. A total 27 studied SSCs, finding 44% focused differentiation 56% its protective activity. On other hand, 11 looked at CSCs, including glioblastoma (64%), lung (27%), breast (only one article).
