The past decade has witnessed significant advances in the systemic treatment of advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Nevertheless, newly developed strategies have not achieved universal success and HCC patients frequently exhibit therapeutic resistance to these therapies. Precision represents a paradigm shift cancer recent years. This approach utilizes unique molecular characteristics individual patient personalize modalities, aiming maximize efficacy while minimizing side effects. Although precision shown multiple types, its application remains infancy. In this review, we discuss key aspects HCC, including biomarkers, classifications, heterogeneity tumor microenvironment. We also propose future directions, ranging from revolutionizing current methodologies personalizing therapy through functional assays, which will accelerate next phase advancements area.

Cancer has become a serious problem worldwide, as it represents the main cause of death, and its incidence increased over years. A potential strategy to counter growing spread various forms cancer is adoption prevention strategies, in particular, use healthy lifestyles, such maintaining weight, following diet; being physically active; avoiding smoking, alcohol consumption, sun exposure; vitamin D supplementation. These modifiable risk factors are associated with this disease, contributing development, progression, severity. This review evaluates relationship between potentially overall specifically breast, colorectal, prostate cancer, highlights updated recommendations on prevention. The results numerous clinical epidemiological studies clearly show influence lifestyles development cancer. An incorrect diet, composed mainly saturated fats processed products, resulting body combined physical inactivity, induced an increase all three types under study. Given importance adopting correct prevent global institutions should develop strategies environments that encourage individuals adopt regular behaviors.

ABSTRACT Given the high lethality of cancer, identifying its risk factors is crucial in both epidemiology and cancer research. This study employs a novel bibliometric analysis method, which uses tidytext package tidy tools R. approach surpasses traditional like VOSviewer, offering more comprehensive complex keyword data clearer results compared to Bibliometrix. By using R, researchers can efficiently handle useful keywords, ignore irrelevant terms, adjust specific settings, correct errors such as repeated evaluations. examines 1000 articles sourced from Web Science database, advanced R Studio analyze publication quantity, frequency, word co‐occurrences. The primary goal uncover key associated with explore underlying mechanisms that link these development. Cancer is one of the leading causes death worldwide, affecting millions people each year. Fortunately, last decades have been marked by considerable advances in field cancer therapy. Researchers discovered many natural substances, some which are isolated from plants that promising anti-tumor activity. Among these, essential oils (EOs) and their constituents widely studied shown potent anticancer activities, both vitro vivo. However, despite results, precise mechanisms action EOs bioactive compounds still poorly understood. Further research needed to better understand these mechanisms, as well effectiveness safety use. Furthermore, use drugs complex, it requires absolute pharmacodynamic specificity selectivity, an appropriate formulation for effective administration. In this study, we present a synthesis recent work on compounds, examining results various vivo studies. We also review future prospects exciting field, potential implications development new drugs.

This study aimed to investigate the risk of gastric cancer (GC) in abnormal body mass index (BMI) groups. A systematic search was carried out on Embase, PubMed/Medline, and Scopus from January 2000 2023. The pooled ratio (RR) with a 95% confidence interval (CI) assessed using random-effect model. Thirteen studies total 14,020,031 participants were included this review. RR GC 1.124 (95% CI, 0.968–1.304, I2: 89.08%) underweight class, 1.155 1.051–1.270, 95.18%) overweight 1.218 1.070–1.386, 97.65%) obesity class. There is no difference between cardia non-cardia cancer, while non-Asian race female gender have higher as Meta-regression classes showed. These findings suggest that there positive association excess weight GC, impact women than men Asian populations. Since tied various diseases, including healthcare experts, policymakers should continue interventions aiming achieve normal BMI range.
