This
study
aimed
to
translate
and
validate
the
Functional
Assessment
of
Cancer
Therapy
–
Head
&
Neck
(FACT-HN)
in
a
Serbian-speaking
population,
assessing
its
psychometric
properties
utility
evaluating
quality
life
head
neck
cancer
patients.
The
research
focuses
on
determining
translated
questionnaire's
reliability,
validity,
cultural
relevance.
A
total
106
patients
completed
FACT-HN,
along
with
other
validated
instruments,
including
EORTC
QLQ-C30,
QLQ-HN43,
CES-D,
GAD-7.
translation
followed
standard
internationally
accepted
procedure.
Psychometric
analyses
were
conducted
using
confirmatory
exploratory
factor
analysis,
Pearson
correlations,
reliability
measures
such
as
Cronbach's
alpha
intraclass
correlation
coefficients.
Serbian
version
FACT-HN
showed
excellent
internal
consistency
across
all
subscales,
ranging
from
0.70
0.89.
Confirmatory
analysis
confirmed
five-factor
structure.
Strong
correlations
observed
between
QoL
measures,
particularly
QLQ-C30
QLQ-HN43.
Convergent
validity
was
satisfactory
for
components
except
Social
Well-Being
component.
