Ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury refers to a new caused by reperfusion after the restoration of ischemic tissue or organ blood supply. Salvianic acid A (danshensu) is primary active ingredient extracted from Salvia miltiorrhiza . It has protective function against I/R in cardiovascular system, brain, liver, kidney, gastrointestinal tract, and other organs. This article reviews evidence effects its potential mechanisms action protection. The aim this review investigate role treatment injury, providing reference resource that could facilitate subsequent studies.

Headache and visceral pain are common clinical painful conditions, which often co-exist in the same patients. Numbers relative to their co-occurrence suggest possible pathophysiological mechanisms. The aim of present narrative review is describe most frequent headache associations discuss underlying mechanisms diagnostic therapeutic implications based on recent evidence from international literature. conditions addressed as follows: cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, urogenital areas primary such migraine tension-type headache. comorbidities involve following: cardiac ischemic (possible shared mechanism endothelial dysfunction, oxidative stress, genetic hormonal factors), functional gastrointestinal disorders, particularly IBS both headache, or secondary dysmenorrhea migraine, bladder syndrome peripheral central sensitization processes). data also show that various pain–headache characterized by more than a simple sum symptoms each condition but complex interactions with enhancement both, crucial for treatment purposes.

Myeloid RNA regulator of Bim-induced death (Morrbid) is a newly identified leukocyte-specific long noncoding (lncRNA). However, the expression and biological functions Morrbid in cardiomyocytes heart disease are currently unclear. This study was meant to determine role cardiac acute myocardial infarction (AMI) identify potential cellular molecular mechanisms involved. We found that both human mouse could express significant amount its increased with hypoxia or oxidative stress as well hearts AMI. Overexpression reduced infarct size dysfunction, whereas dysfunction deteriorated cardiomyocyte-specific Morrbid-KO (Morrbidfl/fl/Myh6-Cre) mice. had protective effect against hypoxia- H2O2-induced apoptosis; this also confirmed vivo after further discovered serpine1 direct target gene involved Morrbid-mediated on cardiomyocytes. In summary, we have found, for first time our knowledge, stress-enhanced lncRNA protects from AMI via antiapoptosis through serpine1. may be novel promising therapeutic ischemic diseases such
