Long non‑coding RNAs serve a crucial role in autophagy of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs). The present study aimed to investigate the effect small nucleolar RNA host gene 1 (SNHG1) on VSMCs and associated underlying mechanisms. Rapamycin was used induce effects SNHG1 proliferation migration change phenotype were tested following overexpression silencing SNHG1. target predicted validated. SNHG1‑regulated via C‑type lectin domain family 7 member A (CLEC7A) determined by combined CLEC7A. Rapamycin‑induced changed cell from contractile synthetic, with decreased expression α‑smooth actin protein 22a increased osteopontin. Overexpression caused same while opposite observed silencing. promoted VSMCs. Avian leukosis virus subgroup J (ALV-J) is an immunosuppressive neoplastic virus, the growth retardation and performance of chickens after infection. Circular RNAs (circRNAs) play a crucial role in various types cancer. In previous study, we showed that circ-Vav3 was significantly elevated tumor livers avian leukosis-infected chickens. Autophagy essential cellular process, circRNAs have been confirmed to be key players autophagy regulation. this demonstrated overexpression inhibited autophagy. Specifically, functions as sponge for gga-miR-375, resulting increased expression CIP2A, which target gene gga-miR-375. turn, hinders fusion autophagosomes with lysosomes, leading incomplete autophagic flux, consequently, inhibition Further study gga-miR-375 inhibits CIP2A promotes by downregulating p-AKT. Additionally, treated cells rapamycin induce then cotransfected them The results cotransfection Moreover, exhibited further ALV-J infection, suggesting involved inhibiting caused infection through regulation gga-miR-375/CIP2A/AKT. conclusion, our gga-miR-375/CIP2A/AKT pathway mediated suppression ALV-J-induced

Plant-based stilbenes are low-molecular-weight polyphenolic compounds that exhibit anti-oxidant, anti-microbial, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic, cardioprotective, neuroprotective, and anti-cancer activities. They phytoalexins produced in diverse plant species response to stress, such as fungal bacterial infections or excessive UV irradiation. Plant-derived dietary products containing common components of the human diet. Stilbenes appear be promising chemopreventive chemotherapeutic agents. Accumulating evidence indicates able trigger both apoptotic autophagic molecular pathways many cancer cell lines. Of note, crosstalk between autophagy apoptosis under cellular stress conditions determines fate. The relationship is complex depends on context, e.g., type level. Apoptosis a regulated death, whereas may act pro-survival pro-death mechanism depending context. interplay have an important impact chemotherapy efficiency. This review focuses vitro effects different lines concerning apoptosis.

Abstract Transport protein particle (TRAPP) tethering complexes are known for their function as Rab GTPase exchange factors. Two versions of the complex considered functionally separate: TRAPPII, an activator Rab11 family (RabA in plants) GTPases that post-Golgi sorting, and TRAPPIII, activating Rab1 (RabD members regulate endoplasmic reticulum (ER)-to-Golgi trafficking autophagy. In Arabidopsis (Arabidopsis thaliana), TRAPPIII has been identified its subunit composition established, but little is about functions. Here, we found binary interactions plant analogous to those metazoan with 2 large subunits TRAPPC8 TRAPPC11 linking TRAPP core small C12 C13 dimer. To gain insight into functions plants, characterized A. thaliana trappc8 mutants. These mutants display abnormalities morphology, particularly flower seed development. They also exhibit autophagic defects, a constitutive ER stress response, elevated levels lipid dolichol (Dol), which indispensable cofactor glycosylation. results indicate involved multiple cellular events suggest link between responses Dol levels.
