Hydroxyapatite (HAp) polymer composites have gained significant attention due to their applications in bone regeneration and tooth implants. This review examines the synthesis, properties, of Hap, highlighting various manufacturing methods, including wet, dry, hydrothermal, sol–gel processes. The properties HAp are influenced by precursor materials commonly obtained from natural calcium-rich sources like eggshells, seashells, fish scales. Composite materials, such as cellulose–hydroxyapatite gelatin–hydroxyapatite, exhibit promising strength biocompatibility for tissue replacement. Metallic implants scaffolds enhance stability, well-known titanium-based stainless steel-based ceramic body Biopolymers, chitosan alginate, combined with offer chemical stability engineering. Collagen, fibrin, gelatin play crucial roles mimicking composition. Various synthesis methods sol–gel, solution casting produce crystals, potential repair regeneration. Additionally, use biowaste eggshells snails or not only supports sustainable production but also reduces environmental impact. emphasizes significance understanding calcium–phosphate (Ca-P) compounds processing scaffold generation, novel characteristics mechanisms biomaterials healing.
