Abstract Background: Post-operative pain management for pediatric patients is generally suboptimum. With patients, anesthesiologists are challenged to evaluate whether the administered dosage appropriate and precisely predict potential side effects from drugs. This imperative as genetics also serves a pivotal role in determining individual’s responses Methods: Paediatric aged 1 12 years who underwent surgery received anaesthesia were offered participate study. Participants pharmacogenomic testing so that anaesthesiologist could determine safety effectiveness of drugs given. The genes investigated included CACNA1S RYR1; COMT; CYP2C19; CYP2C9; CYP2D6; G6PD OPRM1. Both descriptive analytical analysis performed investigate if certain genotype phenotype associated with analgesic Results: Of 22 participants, all reported be having “Uncertain Susceptibility” malignant hyperthermia based on RYR1. Most participants COMT Rs4680 GG (n=16, 72.7%), CYP2C19 *1/*1 (n=9, 40.9%), CYP2C9 (n=20, 90.9%), CYP2D6 *1/*10 (n=8, 36.4%), B (Wildtype)/B (Wildtype) (n=21, 95.4%) OPRM1 Rs1799971GG (n=11, 50.0%). Conclusions: The distribution results examinations indicate normal metabolizers CYP2C9, CYP2D, account less than 50% total samples. In contrast, more phenotypes fall into metabolizer category. For RYR1, subjects classified under uncertain susceptibility. Interestingly, gene, exhibit high activity.

Colorectal cancer (CRC) remains a formidable global health challenge, ranking among the most prevalent malignancies and principal contributor to cancer-associated mortality. While traditional open surgery has historically been cornerstone of CRC treatment, advent minimally invasive techniques, particularly robotic-assisted colorectal (RACS), garnered significant momentum owing technological advancements in field. Robotic platforms, exemplified by da Vinci Surgical System, offer superior three-dimensional visualization, enhanced dexterity, heightened precision, yielding improved perioperative outcomes, anatomically intricate regions such as pelvis. This review provides critical appraisal current landscape RACS, emphasizing its superiority over conventional laparoscopic approaches. The increased control precision afforded robotic have shown optimize outcomes complex procedures total mesorectal excision, with evidence indicating reduced intraoperative blood loss, shortened hospital stays, functional recovery. Nonetheless, challenges persist, including absence haptic feedback, prohibitive costs, steep learning curve associated systems. Despite these limitations, RACS demonstrated considerable promise sphincter-preserving function-preserving procedures, ultimately enhancing postoperative quality life. Beyond surgical field, this also investigates integration within multidisciplinary treatment strategies for CRC, context locally advanced rectal cancer. combination techniques neoadjuvant therapy immunotherapy-especially tumors characterized mismatch repair deficiency or high microsatellite instability notable clinical efficacy. Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are versatile that regulate various cellular processes, such as gene regulation, by acting signals, decoys, guides, and scaffolds. A novel recognized lncRNA, LOXL1-antisense RNA 1 (LOXL1-AS1), is dysregulated in some diseases, including cancer, acts an oncogenic lncRNA many types of cancer cells. Upregulation LOXL1-AS1 has been involved proliferation, migration, metastasis, EMT, well inhibiting apoptosis Most importantly, the malignant promoting activity can be mostly mediated sequestering specific miRNAs their binding to 3´UTR target mRNAs, thereby indirectly regulating expression. Additionally, decoy transcription factors proteins prevent regulatory regions, mechanistic on regulation expression signaling pathways. This review presents pathways role modulating its Having information about molecular mechanisms regulated cells open ways find out particular prognostic biomarkers, discover therapeutic approaches for different cancer.
