Objective. To investigate the effects of 12‐week physical exercise (jogging, basketball, and outdoor training) on sleep quality, harmful mood, heart rate variability (HRV) in college students with Internet addiction. Methods . 46 addiction were chosen then randomly assigned to group (IA, n = 23) (IA+EX, 23). The subjects IA+EX underwent for 12 weeks (three times per week), IA did not perform regular during experiment. Then, degree addiction, depression, quality evaluated by using Young’s Addiction Test (IAT) scale, Center Epidemiologic Studies Depression (CES‐D) Pittsburgh index (PSQI); HRV measured Polar Team 2 before after intervention. Results (1) After exercise, compared preexercise intervention, scores IAT, CES‐D, PSQI significantly decreased ( t 12.183, 9.238, 5.660; P < 0.01) group; group, 2.449, 3.175, 4.487; 0.05, <0.01) (2) LFn ratio LF/HF 5.650, 3.493; HFn increased −2.491, 0.05) there no significant differences above indexes experiment > 0.05). Background Social media use among college students often leads to psychological dependence, resulting in a rising number of internet addictions. The link between social dependence and addiction is garnering increasing attention. Objective aim this study was analyze discuss the research trends hotspots on disorder by bibliometric methods. Methods Relevant studies online were retrieved from Web Science (WoS) database spanning years 2013 2024. We delineated distribution publications identify core productivity within field. VOSviewer software employed conduct network visualization analyses countries, authors, journals, keywords, aiding comprehensive understanding domain. Results From WoS database, we 302 publications, 167 included after screening. findings revealed: (1) steady increase citations, particularly accelerating 2019. (2) most productive journal Computers human behavior , area Psychology, author, institution, country are Professor Griffiths MD, Nottingham Trent University China, respectively. (3) Collaborative analysis indicated that there multiple groups field, yet connections countries authors remain relatively limited. The object of this study is to examine the effects a short-term intensive-type Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) intervention prevent internet addiction among Chinese college students. We conducted randomized controlled trial applying group counseling program based on CBT. Data included 21 participants in and 22 control group. results showed that reduced students’ symptoms procrastination improved their sense coherence. Regarding sustained effect, decreased perceived social support from significant others However, did not significantly reduce average daily use time psychological stress. Overall, developed CBT theory, which complementary for students with addiction.
