Mycotoxins can cause genotoxic, mutagenic, teratogenic, and carcinogenic effects in humans animals. inevitably exist widely all kinds of food feed commodities, which cereals are the most susceptible. In one largest cereal producing consuming regions world, mycotoxin contamination causes about 1 billion metric tons loss annually, also influences a serious decline Asian economic development. This Review is based on three databases, PubMed, Google Scholar, Web Science, including studies that were published English period from January 1, 2016 to October 2022. Results show current status control strategies aflatoxins, ochratoxin A, zearalenone, deoxynivalenol, fumonisins Asia. Developed countries Asia should maintain strict monitoring establish an effective system for whole production chain, while developing strengthen prevention mycotoxins.

Due to the climatic change, an increase in aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) maize contamination has been reported Europe. As alternative mineral binders, natural phytogenic compounds are increasingly used counteract negative effects of AFB1 farm animals. In cows, even low dietary concentrations may result milk excretion genotoxic carcinogen metabolite M1 (AFM1). this study, we tested ability turmeric powder (TP), extract from Curcuma longa (CL) rich curcumin and curcuminoids, reducing AFM1 mammary Holstein–Friesian cows. Both active principles inhibit hepatic synthesis interact with drug transporters involved absorption excretion. A crossover design was applied two groups cows (n = 4 each) a 4-day washout. Animals received diet contaminated levels (5 ± 1 µg/kg) for 10 days TP supplementation (20 g/head/day). treatment had no impact on yield, composition or somatic cell count. Despite tendency toward lower average content last four (below EU limits), statistically significant differences group occurred. Since bioavailability be major issue, further investigations different CL preparations warranted.

For this reason, AFB1 is recognized as a human group 1 carcinogen by International Agency of Research on Cancer. Consequently, it essential to determine its properties behavior in different chemical systems. The can be explored using computational chemistry, which has been employed complementarily experimental investigations. present review includes silico studies (semiempirical, Hartree–Fock, DFT, molecular docking, dynamics) conducted from first study 1974 (2022). This work was performed, considering following groups: (a) (structural, energy, solvent effects, ground excited state, atomic charges, others); (b) theoretical investigations (degradation, quantification, reactivity, (c) interactions with inorganic compounds (Ag+, Zn2+, Mg2+); (d) environmentally (clays); (e) biological (DNA, enzymes, cyclodextrins, glucans, others).
