The aim of this scoping review is to synthesize the available evidence on prevalence rates healthcare workers being victims violence perpetrated by patients and visitors in Italy. PubMed, Scopus, Web Science CINAHL were systematically searched from their inception April 2021. Two authors independently assessed 1182 studies. All scientific papers written English or Italian reporting primary quantitative and/or qualitative data aggression sexual harassment toward Italy included. Thirty-two included review. extracted summarized a narrative synthesis organized following six thematic domains: (1). Methodology study design; (2). Description violent behavior; (3). Characteristics health care staff involved workplace (WPV); (4). Prevalence form WPV; (5). This study proposes a model based on social contagion theory to evaluate the impacts of authentic leadership employee work engagement (WE) and trust in leader (TL), integrating mediating effect TL moderating workplace well-being (WW). Authentic is disaggregated into its subscales: relational transparency (RT), internalized moral perspective (IMP), balanced processing (BP), self-awareness (SA).Dubai hotel employees completed 476 surveys.
