Background: Cancer patients, being immunocompromised, are at higher risk of coronavirus disease (COVID-19). The current study determines cancer patients’ knowledge, attitude, perception, and impact the COVID-19 pandemic. Method: A cross-sectional online survey was conducted in Pakistan from 1 April 2020 to May 2020. respondents were patients with ages equal or greater than 18 years. Following a request for participation, URL distributed on numerous channels. Other social media platforms, including WeChat, WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Messenger, LinkedIn, used increase patient interaction. questionnaire comprised five different sections such as: (1) sociodemographic information, (2) (3) (4) (5) patients. Descriptive medical statistics as frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation illustrate demographic characteristics participants. To compare mean knowledge scores selected variables, independent sample t-tests one-way analysis variance (ANOVA) used, which also practical methods epidemiological, public health research. cut-off point statistical significance set p-value 0.05. Results: More 300 invited, 208 agreed take part. response rate 69.33% (208/300). Gender, marital status, employment status had significant association scores. Of total recruited participants, 96% (n = 200) (p < 0.01) knew about COVID-19, 90% aware general symptoms disease, route transmission preventive measurements. In total, 94.5% 197) willing accept isolation if they infected 98% 204) reduced their use transportation. 188) found be practicing preventative measures using face mask, keeping distance, avoiding handshaking hugging. Around 94.4% 196) been impacted by, stopped changed treatment during this pandemic, resulting COVID-related anxiety depression. Conclusion: included exhibited good level awareness, positive perception. Large-scale studies efforts needed raise awareness among less educated high-risk populations. present indicates that mass-level effective education initiatives required developing countries improve reduce gap between KAP COVID-19.

ABSTRACT Aim(s) To examine nurses' knowledge, attitude and practice regarding nutrition management in hospitalised adults explore their views on it. Design A mixed‐method approach combining cross‐sectional descriptive qualitative methods. Methods 379 enrolled/registered nurses working acute or intensive units of a tertiary hospital were recruited between 24th August 2023 3rd December 2023. Participants completed questionnaire sociodemographic profile, (KAP) management. Data analysis was conducted using R software, reporting levels KAP its associations with factors. Mann–Whitney U Kruskal–Wallis tests used for non‐normally distributed knowledge scores (reported as median interquartile range). Two‐sample t ‐tests ANOVA normally mean standard deviation). 21 the participants from quantitative study either purposively sampled snowballed to undergo semi‐structured interviews (physically virtually face‐to‐face), which transcribed verbatim analysed content analysis. Results The 61.6, 19.4 22.8, respectively. Knowledge varied significantly by educational level ( p < 0.001), while attitudes also differed based education = 0.001) years employment 0.019). Despite the availability of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccination, uptake among pregnant women in Sub-Saharan Africa has been low. This scoping review aimed to identify and characterize determinants influencing COVID-19 vaccination decision-making behaviors Africa. We searched five online databases for articles on identified studies published English between March 2020 April 2023 that assessed vaccine-specific issues, psychosocial constructs, contextual factors associated with behaviors. Of fourteen identified, over half (57.1%) were cross-sectional; three used qualitative research methods; involved multi-country participants. Most acceptability willingness. Overall, 85.7% publications examined knowledge, attitudes, or both as critical vaccination. The prevalence vaccine during pregnancy was low (14.4–28%). While most current assess maternal would benefit from inclusion theory-informed driven measure additional constructs. Future should also employ study designs can determine causal pathways uptake.

In the current COVID-19 post-pandemic era, vaccine hesitancy is hindering herd immunity generated by widespread vaccination. It critical to identify factors that may cause hesitancy, enabling relevant authorities propose appropriate interventions for mitigating such a phenomenon. Keyword extraction, sub-field of natural language processing (NLP) applications, plays vital role in modern medical informatics. When traditional corpus-based NLP methods are used conduct keyword they only consider word’s log-likelihood value determine whether it keyword, which leaves room concerns about efficiency and accuracy this extraction technique. These include fact method unable (1) optimize list machine-based approach, (2) effectively evaluate keyword’s importance level, (3) integrate variables data clustering. Thus, address aforementioned issues, study integrated word removal technique, i10-index, importance–performance analysis (IPA) technique develop an improved facilitating extraction. The top 200 most-cited Science Citation Index (SCI) research articles discussing were adopted as target corpus verification. results showed keywords Quadrant I (n = 98) reached highest lexical coverage (9.81%), indicating proposed successfully identified extracted most important from corpus, thus achieving more domain-oriented accurate results.

Abstract Background The global aging population presents challenges that are particularly acute in China. Older Chinese adults’ attitudes towards death significantly impact their quality of life. Death education is crucial for promoting positive perspectives on life and death. Narrative offers a promising approach to facilitating education. Integrating the Knowledge-Attitude-Practice (KAP) model into will enhance feasibility acceptability programs. Methods This mixed-methods study included quasi-experimental trial semi-structured interviews. adults intervention group ( N = 27) received 6-week KAP-based narrative program addition standard community health education; participants control 20) only normal In both groups, toward meaning were assessed at baseline immediately after intervention.
