When Covid-19 hit the globe, Malaysia was specifically affected by implementation of MCO which restricted its citizens from having their normal daily activities. Malaysian students are especially distressed online learning, whereby they need to cope with burden learning without physical consultation lecturers while indulging ‘nuisance’ home environment. This cross-sectional study conducted examine relationship and impact emotional intelligence comprised self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, management components toward optimism among public university in Perak, Malaysia. Convenience sampling applied as technique selecting required sample size 441 respondents. Introduction: Emotional intelligence (EI) is a key skill for the personal and academic development of university students. Objective: This study aims analyze evidence validity reliability Wong-Law Intelligence Scale (WLEIS) in students region Lambayeque, Peru. Method: Our has an instrumental design. We applied virtual questionnaire distributed social networks 317 (124 males 193 females) from different professional careers, aged between 18 30 years (M=20.3; SD=2.7). Confirmatory factor analysis was performed (WLSMV estimator), internal consistency assessed. Result: found four correlated factors, higher order, bifactor, first being one with best-fit indices: X2(98) = 262.63, p < .001, CFI .97, TLI .96, RMSEA .07 [CI 90%; .06 - .08], SRMR .04 WRMR .91. Internal results using omega coefficient are ωSEA .81, ωOEA= .79, ωUOE= .84 ωROE .85. Conclusion: The WLEIS Lambayeque Peru sufficient guarantee relevance its application.
