Background: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, practical curriculum in over 80% of Japanese nursing universities is shorted. The study aimed clarify change basic social competencies among students by comparing their scores before and during pandemic. Method: Retrospective data from 235 responses 3rd-grade were analyzed. separated into two groups—158 respondents before-pandemic 77 during-pandemic. Respondents asked complete a measurement scale months after beginning module. Results: Our results showed during-pandemic group’s averages higher than group’s. During using home-based online learning could not self-evaluate accurately because they practice field. Conclusion: Nursing who studying self-assessed themselves those compare with other students, that misunderstandings may arise.

Background: The COVID-19 lockdown has been a major stressor for the general population, posing considerable threat to quality of life (QoL), particularly among university students. Existing research highlights protective role dispositional mindfulness (DM) in mitigating stressors; however, its influence on moderating impact QoL remains unknown. We used longitudinal design assess undergraduate students before and after lockdown, while also examining potential effect DM this impact. The COVID-19 pandemic has considerably impacted the health and lifestyle of various populations worldwide, leading to decreased physical activity, increased sedentary behavior, problems. This study aimed investigate Hong Kong young adults' related behaviors, perceptions body image during pandemic. A cross-sectional online survey adults aged 18-29 was conducted from February March 2021 using well-validated Multidimensional Body Self-Relations Questionnaire (MBSRQ). Among 408 respondents, 52.5% had a normal weight in BMI range, 45.1% engaged ≥8 h behavior daily, 77.2% no regular or inadequate activity (<2.5 h/week), only 22.3% joined fitness club. This study investigated the effectiveness of a low-intensity online mindfulness-based Intervention (iMBI) for alleviating anxiety in university students during COVID-19 pandemic. In randomized controlled trial involving 134 participants from local Hong Kong, subjects were randomly assigned to either intervention group (n = 67) or inactive control 67). The participated iMBI comprising 16 modules and two half-day mindfulness workshops over an eight-week period. Outcomes measured via platform using standardized assessment scales, including Beck Anxiety Inventory Chinese Five Facets Mindfulness Questionnaire, at three different time points: pre-intervention, post-intervention three-month follow-up.
