Introduction: Oral health is extremely important for the quality of life and well-being. Findings reveal that people with special needs have difficulties in getting dental care, which increases their risk oral diseases. This study was undertaken to assess the oral health status among physically disabled Saudi patients. Recruitment took place in Armed Forces Centre for Health Rehabilitation Taif, Arabia. 124 patients living with a physical disability were enrolled and divided into three groups: hemiplegia, paraplegia quadriplegia. Data collected on demographics different indices, including Decayed Missing Filled Teeth (DMFT) index, Mean score, Community Periodontal Index (CPI), of Treatment Needs (CPITN), Simplified Oral Hygiene (OHI-S). High DMFT observed hemiplegia group (mean = 22.61; P-value .008) no difference Teeth. All groups showed signs gingivitis form gingival bleeding. The most compromised periodontal pockets 6 mm or deeper found (53.7%; .001). also reflected CPITN (39.0%; .001), indicating need complex treatments same group. O acesso ao atendimento odontológico para as pessoas com deficiência (PCD) é um direito garantido no sistema de saúde público. No entanto, apesar das políticas públicas existentes, os desafios esse ainda são numerosos. objetivo deste estudo analisar a acessibilidade aos serviços bucal PCD em uma policlínica odontológica universidade pública. Este foi realizado entre setembro novembro 2023. Foi analisado o tipo deficiência, sexo, faixa etária, procedimento realizado, condição inicial e tempo lista espera. A média idade pacientes 43 anos; classificada como “ruim” 45% dos casos, procedimentos adequação do meio exodontias sendo mais realizados; doenças sistêmicas crônicas foram atendidos maior número (32%). Assim, que procuraram por tiveram suas necessidades atendidas. Entretanto, alta prevalência ruim, concomitante alto extrações dentárias identificadas, reitera necessidade urgente garantir odontológicos forma efetiva estas pessoas.
