Abstract The Australian healthcare sector is a complex mix of government departments, associations, providers, professionals, and consumers. Cybersecurity attacks, which have recently increased, challenge the in many ways; however, best approaches for to manage threat are unclear. This study will report on semi-structured focus group conducted with five representatives from computer security sectors. An analysis this transcript yielded four themes: 1) securing landscape; 2) financial challenges cybersecurity healthcare; 3) balancing privacy transparency; 4) education regulation. results indicate need sector-specific tools empower mitigate threats, most notably using self-evaluation tool so stakeholders can proactively prepare incidents. Despite vast amount research into cybersecurity, little has been proactive where weaknesses identified before they occur.

Abstract Background In the digital age, maintaining patient confidentiality while ensuring effective care coordination poses significant challenges for healthcare providers, particularly nurses. Aim To investigate and strategies associated with balancing in age. Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted a general hospital Egypt to collect data from 150 nurses across various departments at least six months of experience care. Data were collected using tools: Demographic Form, HIPAA Compliance Checklist, Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Tool, Sharing Agreement (DSA) Framework, EHR Security NIST Cybersecurity Framework. Validity Reliability ensured through pilot testing factor analysis. Results Participants primarily aged 31–40 years (45%), 75% female 60% staff High compliance observed especially Administrative Safeguards (3.8 ± 0.5), indicating strong management training processes, an overall score 85 10. The PIA Tool showed robust privacy management, Project Descriptions scoring 4.5 0.3 total 30 3. DSA Framework had mean 20 2, Protection Measures highest 4.0 0.4. assessments revealed high scores Access Controls (4.4 0.3) Integrity (4.3 0.3), 22 1.5. 18 Protect (3.8) lower Detect (3.6). Strong positive correlations found between ( r = 0.70, p < 0.05) 0.55, 0.05), reflecting protection practices.
